Lonely No More

Being alone and being lonely are two different things. Ivy has watched her brothers find everlasting love. To stave off the loneliness, Ivy tries out new things and when something happens to her one night, Marco is the one who helps her. Marco's her brother Cooper's best friend so he's always been off limits. But there's so much chemistry and attraction between them. Being around Marco keeps those feelings of loneliness away. They get along well, they share their deepest secrets, they keep it real while keeping their relationship a secret. When Cooper finds out, it becomes a true test of putting your money where your mouth is. This is when we find out if Marco was being true to Ivy or just finessing her with words. Kit Swann and CJ Mission did an amazing job narrating this story. Ivy and Marco came to life. I heard the emotions and the nuances in the narrators' voices that made the story that much more enjoyable.

Marco & Ivy are my new favorite Westwoods couple!

CJ Mission and Kit Swan were incredible as Marco and Ivy. Their's was an emotional, heartwarming story and the narrators did a fantastic job articulating the emotions and agony that both Ivy and Marco were experiencing after the attack. Marco is best friends with Ivy's brother, Cooper so they've been in eachothers lives for many years. Although Marco and Ivy never saw the other as more than friends, when they did open their eyes to what was right in front of them, their love blossomed immediately and unfolded so organically.

Marco was pure golden retriever the way he took care of Ivy and protected and cared for her. She would not have healed the way she did if not for his love and support. What a difference a year made for this destined couple, but it didn't come across as fast or rushed because they already knew each other so deeply. They may have become a couple after a tragic experience, but what's meant to be will be and it turns out Ivy's lonely heart was waiting for Marco all along. Their burn was slow but it was perfect for them, and when it heated up it was an inferno. They are hands down my new favorite Westwoods couple.

Emotional brothers best friend romance

Ivy & Marco stole my heart with their emotional road to love. Ivy’s struggle with loneliness after her brothers find their happily ever after really pulls at your heart strings. The traumatic events she endured were heartbreaking, but ultimately led her right where she needed to be. I love the brothers best friend trope so much and this one was one of the best! Marco’s dedication to helping her through the trauma without being overbearing was so sweet. Sometimes what you’ve been looking for was right in front of you all along! Lonely Heart is officially my favorite Westwoods book.

So Incredible!

Lonely Heart is so incredible! I’ve loved Ivy since we first met her—she is kind, hardworking, driven, and direct. It is fascinating to get to know this more intimate side of her and watch her discover Marco in a whole new light. Marco is gifted and talented in so many ways, and I love that he is there for Ivy no matter what, protecting her, caring for her, and honoring her wishes—putting her well-being and needs first. Watching him accept and grow into his new-found feelings for her is such a beautiful journey. These two each deserve love and happiness they find in each other. Author AK Evans does a brilliant job of building a friends-to-lovers romance filled with emotion, intensity, tension, action, and steam, and the narrators definitely delivered with their incredible performances.

they found unexpected love...

The Westwood kids continue finding their other halves. Ivy's turn finds her living through trauma and all but giving up on love...but sometimes it takes those unexpected turns and events to see what is right in front of you. That seemed to be the case for Ivy and Marco. They found unexpected love and happy ever after. But high stress, danger, and suspense was a part of the journey.

I love to listen to CJ Mission and Kit Swann! These two together are explosive, just like Ivy and Marco. AK Evans, you could not have gotten the audio any better!!

Book 4 gives us Ivy and we get to watch her navigate her feelings about her brothers finding love and her wanting to have that as well. She hasn’t had the best track record so she decides to find Mr. Right by taking classes and putting herself out again. Of course, trouble follows her and she gets robbed.

Marco is the one that comes to rescue her. Marco is her older brother’s best friend and he is when he saw her, he couldn’t help but to feel protected.

Maybe Ivy has been looking in the wrong place for love because right now, she sees it right in front of her, in Marco!

Good addition to the series

In this latest addition to the series, it’s Ivy Westwood that gets her story.
Ivy, whom we have met in previous stories, runs the family owned Westwood Hotels.
As Ivy sees her brothers getting their HEA, she is thrilled for them and intensifies her desire to finding “the one”. With this in mind, she believes taking classes of all sorts, is the perfect way to meet her special person.
When she is in need of rescuing, it’s Marco who stands by her. Could it be that Marco, her brothers’ friend and the boy, now man that has been right in front of her all this time, be the one for her? If so, how will her brothers react to this turn of events?
The plot was engaging, and as always happens with this author, the characters are well developed and likable.
Making this audiobook even more enjoyable , are the narrations of CJ Mission and Kit Swann.

Marco and Ivy

Ivy is lonely after watching her brothers and best friend find love. She tried everything to find a man, but after a year, nada. After a brutal attack, her brother's best friend offers her comfort and help and only after that, do they realize what they've both been searching for was right in front of them. Great story with enjoyable characters and the Westwoods are the best! You want to become one of the family with the way the support and love each other. The sweetest epilogue ever. Excellent narration from from the narrators.

Back to the Westwoods!

I love the Westwood Family. In this audiobook we get to see Ivy, I really enjoyed listening to it as i’ve never had a chance to listen with these narrators before, really enjoyed a great day with a good book as I packed up Christmas items. Going to read the book now!
