It's 1999, and Eira Hart and Ru Tattersall are set up to co-host The Lonely Harts Club, a new late-night radio show to help New Yorkers find love. It's a last chance attempt for both Eira, expert in Celtic mythology and amateur Welsh matchmaker, and Ru, once-hot-shot Aussie DJ, to achieve their New York dreams.

The thing is, you either click with a co-host, or you don’t. It’s a bit like falling in love. There’s co-host chemistry, or there isn’t.

With the countdown to a new millennium, it feels like the world as they know it is about to end.

Radio is becoming commercialized and superficial. Lower Manhattan is gentrifying. The Lonely Harts Club feels like the last chance to hold on to something real. As confessions pour out over the late-night airwaves and their show gathers an impressive following of happily-matched couples, can The Lonely Harts Club make one last true match?

Meet the Performer

Adam Demos is an Australian actor, best known for his roles as August Walker on the American television series UnREAL, Brad in the Netflix series Sex/Life, and Jake Taylor in Netflix’s Falling Inn Love.
Adam was born in Wollongong, New South Wales. He studied at Screenwise Film and TV School for Actors in Sydney and his silver screen debut came in 2013 with a small role in the critically acclaimed Australian film I Will Love You Tomorrow, which was followed by his first major leading role in the popular Australian drama series Janet King.
Audible Original’s Lonely Harts Radio is Adam’s first audiobook role, and he plays Ru Tattersall, the hotshot Aussie DJ.

Meet The Performer

Erin Richards is a Welsh-born actor and director, best known for her roles as Barbara Kean in the hit US TV show Gotham, Kelly Fisher in TV series The Crown, and Sarah in C4’s Misfits. Other acting credits include films Starve Acre, Save the Cinema, Grey Elephant, Irreplaceable You, and That Good Night.
Her notable directing credits include the 100th episode of Gotham; her first short film, Hot Girl; God Friended Me for CBS, and most recently, the hour-long stand-up poetry special Words That Move, which premiered at the Dances with Films Festival.
Erin is currently working on her first feature film, an adaptation of Naomi Booth's novel Sealed by Chloe Moss, which is a psychological horror about an expectant mother's fight to survive.
Marking her first audiobook performance, Erin plays amateur Welsh matchmaker Eira Hart in the Audible Original romance novel Lonely Harts Radio.

I usually just leave my stars and don't comment on reviews. This is worthy of the words. I enjoyed this So much! The characters are wonderfully developed and the narration is perfect. My only complaint is that it isn't longer! Please listen. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I was drawn in from the beginning but was COMPLETELY HOOKED the minute these characters were in the booth together- the chemistry was perfection! It was one I was eager to turn on as soon as I got in the car to hear more of the stories and what else was new with the Lonely Harts ❤️I am also a big NYC fan and loved the romanticism of the city itself ❤️ Wish it would’ve lasted even longer!
