About this listen

Three life-altering months...

That's how long it's been since Amelia Greyson joined the Just an Illusion Tour with Bastards and Dangerous. She's made new friends, embraced her past, and even found love.

Back on the road...

Following a tragic situation, Amelia is determined to hit the road, put her life in order, and finish the book she was hired to write. Mel's not the only one affected by what happened; the men of BAD are all trying to move forward, not wanting the past to ruin the remainder of their farewell tour.

Brother vs. Brother...

Tensions are high on the Weston brothers' bus. As each brother settles into their role in Amelia's life, secrets threaten to rip their relationship to shreds. Can Noah and Sawyer find a way to save the brotherly bond they share? Or will the woman of their dreams end up tearing them apart for good?

Contains mature themes.

Ohhhhh my gosh

Amelia and Noah’s relationship evolved throughout this book. I enjoyed the progression and the realness between them. The chemistry between them was intense and I liked the way Noah snuck up on Amelia. His family supported both of them and they were in a good place. However, I’m in shock. What happened in this book was NOT what I expected.

Such an emotional pull!

This series is so good, angsty, romantic, steamy and has that feeling of happiness, yet their is an underlying of impending doom. It starts off right where Side A stops, and lets us continue our story of Amelia and Noah. There are always bumps along the road, but the one that is threatening could be the end of them. Sawyer, Noah's twin brother definitely could cause this fairy tale to end. But does he? I absolutely love D Kelly's style of writing. She doesn't have filler, but cuts to the chase. Her story is full of a beautiful classic romance. Mel and Noah have a relationship that is blooming and we fall right along with them. We feel the tension of Sawyer as he wrestles his demons. We enjoy Noah's mom, and get to know Darren and Belle better. What I wasn't prepared for was the ending, and yes, it is a cliffhanger! I am off to get book 3 so I can get my closure! Loving this saga.

Tracy Marks continues her narration of this series. I love her voice, she is one of my favorite female narrators. She finds her character, picks the perfect voice and emotional pull for him or her. I always know when I pick up on of her performances, I am in for a treat, and this series is no exception. Can't wait to see how she brings this one home.

A Stellar Sequel

OMG! This one was crazy good. I am completely blown away. This one has some serious moments as everyone is trying to move on from the events at the end of the first book. But more importantly, we see Noah and Amelia growing their relationship and establishing their futures together. What I love about this series is that while it focuses on one Noah and Amelia its also about Darren and Sawyer as well. They are such an important and integral part of these characters lives. This book will make you laugh and cry. It is beautiful and it is heartbreaking. This author shattered me into a million broken pieces with that ending. I am not ok. Tracy Marks nailed this one in the best possible way.
