The usual result of a human taking a runaway semitruck head-on is a very sudden, very fast track to the pearly gates. But for one newly noncorporeal man, there's another option: become a dungeon. Feeling sorry for the desperate angel assigned to him, the man relents. Heck, if it doesn't work out, he can always chat with Saint Peter about it later. Next thing you know, he's a dungeon. Admittedly, a small run-down, somewhat unimpressive dungeon (more of a house, actually), but you gotta start somewhere, right?

Personal emotional growth of the character
I was pleasantly surprised with how this story progressed from book 1. This is a story that started in one way and ended in another, and I was pleasantly surprised. I wonder if the author put a lot of himself and his own personal struggles and growth into the protagonist, because it felt that way. While there were some sections in the story that made you want to scream in disgust over the protagonist' self injurious decisions, the resolution to those events made me quiet emotional. I think the narrator had a lot to do with that. while I'm a big fan of Travis baldree, the new narrator did this story and the main character better justice. I am sad that Jake's story is over, but hopefully, the author will continue writing short stories about Jake and his friends and adventures. would love to see his story continue in some way.

I hope mathews writes a lot more books!!
I enjoyed the series and really appreciated that this set was wrapped up at the end in a fun and potential way. Lots of convoluted bit and pieces and he pulled it off 👍 nice job - I’ll definitely read again!!

Loved it
This was a great series. I loved the build up and how it took more of a bigger picture narrative toward the end. And the ending was perfect. That is exactly what Jake would have done. Keep up all your hard work. Books 1, 2, and 3 were exactly what Jakes magical market should be.

the story of a simple man who did great things
this is a great story, a nobody turns the world over for justice, the future and the past. there are moments that will have you laughing and moment your shocked, but every moment is what makes this such a good story. I would recommend this to anyone!!

Epic Conclusion!
I’m speechless. This was everything I needed from Jake’s chaotic adventure! I will hold out hope that we get more content about Jake and his friends, but this was the perfect ending to an epic tale.

Just a great series.
This series was actually my introduction to lit RPG. I have since listened to vast amounts. I probably could have a PhD in brain surgery from the amount of time. I’ve listened to these different audiobooks. What I can say I really like about this, aside from decent grammar and interesting characters, is that he ended it before it got repetitive. The worst thing is when a 8-12 volume series begins to repeat itself and you begin to get familiar with the horrific grammar of some authors. In this case, I enjoyed it start to finish.
