I always like to read and listen to the different religious beliefs. I am impressed by the Islam as it has the complete way of life. The author has very well explained the basics of this religion. I highly recommend this book to all.

Yes, it covers a wide range of topics from political to religion based practices that I did not know before. Tons of good info.

The rituals it talked about it was something very interesting and I found to be useful as I am visiting an Islamic based country.

Interesting Read!

Very enlightening read. I always love learning about different ways of thinking and belief systems. Really did a good job of breaking everything down and giving me a fuller understanding of Islam. Glad I gave this one a listen. Nicely done!

This book is a good source to learn the basic beliefs and practices for Islam. The author has described everything very well here that a beginner like me can be get lots of information from this amazing book.

It has the basic teaching of Islam and It was interesting to know. Although I learned a thing or two, I am not planning on converting to Islam

getting to know islam

Islam is one of the biggest and well known religion in the world. through this book i have learned all about islam - from its humble beginning to its development to what it is today including the rituals and practice of this religion. it helped me understand what it is making me respect whatever this religion is now.

Muslim individuals and families live around the world in many different countries and practice their faith in similar ways. Cultural variations such as type of dress and rituals for weddings may vary, but fundamentally Muslims are governed by the same principles found in the Qur'an. Of note is the fact that in the year 2000, the number of Muslims surpassed the number of Christians in the world. This may mean that Islam will be more visible in years to come in Western cultures. Insights and information about religions and practices can be a helpful way to facilitate more visibility and understanding.

Definitely a book to purchase

What made the experience of listening to Islam for Beginners the most enjoyable?

I think it does an excellent job in presenting the basics of Islam. It must of course be written from a respectfully Muslim perspective, which is why (understandably) Muhammad is treated with such veneration. Definitely a book to purchase if you want a short introduction that beats the Wikipedia's.
