Was interesting but couldnt get into the narration

I thought the story was interesting, it shows how money can be your death, how people are greedy, and what they will do for it. It a story of love, lost and how the family takes what they want. I thought it was interesting and laid out in a way that it wasn't boring, with just enough information to pull you in not over bearing you with useless information.

The narrator I didn't enjoy that much, he didn't really pull the listener in, he sounded like he was just reading but like he was trying to hard. It just didn't flow smooth, it is all most like he is happy, The book is interesting but he took away from what you should be feeling when one is murdered. Being a true crime there was not any character voices so I am unsure how he would do in that area. There were no repeating of words, no volume change, it is a clear audio.

Greed anything for money

keeps your interest sickening what people will do for a dollar even though the odds of getting away with murder are not in your favor

The Rottenness of Wealth

This short listen, just under an hour, is a very telling story of what extreme wealth does to a family . . . generations of a family, how evil enters into the very souls of those who cherish what money can buy above all else. I had never heard of the murder case of Jeanne Tovrea, but this tale explains it all very well. It never ceases to amaze me what the love of money can do to people. And it brings new meaning every time to Proverbs 30:8, "Give me neither poverty nor riches; Give me just enough to satisfy my needs." What a sad tale of a family this short listen is. And a lesson to anyone wise enough to heed it. Even though the person who ordered the murder of Jeanne Tovrea has never been held to account in this world, they will not escape it in the next.
