An incredible book 3 in this series!

I enjoyed every moment of the WLW Casablanca series. JE Leak's writing is tremendous as she gives such depth and complexity to all her characters. My only regret is that book 4 isn't out yet. I was addicted the second I began listening. ABBY CRADEN IS ICONIC in her performance. THANK YOU JE LEAK AND ABBY CRADEN for sharing your brilliance with us! Bring on book 4 and Abby Craden better be on board😊.

unbreak my heart

I was in tears, the whole time I'm like "Cathrine what are you doing?!" and then with the Mcguffin reveal I was like... oh.... the audacity, the sacrifice, I'm more than a little devistated.

Amazingly Wonderful Series!

A delicious story of intrigue interwoven with a tapestry of multiple layers and complexities of genuine love amongst vibrant characters as they fight for their lives, those they love and the soul of mankind. All brought to life by the best narrator in the business easily makes this my favorite book series ever; I look forward to the final book being released and narrated by Abby Craden with great anticipation.

Extremely well crafted storylines with stellar writing and narration

Primo series! Read it starting with book one. The author is top notch and the narrator brings every book to life with the skill of 10 characters in one.

Really excellent - this is by far one of the best authors I have enjoyed in a long time. So skilled at the craft of writing.

Buy it and love it.

Unbelievably Intense and suspenseful

This series has me riveted each page that I listen to. Abby Craden voice for all the characters for done. Her soft, smooth, sexy voice and then the other voices for the male characters. Wow! What an awesome job. This book brought out so much emotion- highs and lows and gut wrenching scenes. I can’t wait to listen to book four.

Beautifully devasting

This was the toughest of the three books to get through, mostly because I was too wrapped up into the characters and their emotions and needed some recovery time. As hard as it is, it is beautifully written and the storyline itself kept hitting. This is possibly the best Abby narration I’ve heard…which says a lot.

Tough listen but worth every second.

In the third book of this excellent series J.E.Leak has written Kat’s story. Starting with the searing prelude to book one, Kat’s “truth” is incredibly hard to read and yes her betrayal’s are unforgivable in any other context. That said, as a special forces combat veteran, it’s a miracle that she has not already surrendered to her demons.

Jenny is a hero in this tale who reminds me of the videos made by Army and Marine Corps spouses declaring their “war” to save their spouses from PTSD. This will be a hard story to finish but I can’t think of two characters so deserving of grace.

Finally, thank you Abbie Craden for bringing this story to life. Your performance helped bring emotional clarity to essential truth of this story.

You’ll listen again and again!

Smart writing with a story to keep us thoroughly engaged! And of course Abby Craden brings the characters to life like few others can. Her sultry voice is perfect for Kathryn’s character. I can hardly wait for book 4! I am definitely following this Author to see what she brings us next after this series!

I'm not sure if the plot got lost

*some spoilers!* i enjoyed books 1 and 2, but I really got annoyed with book 3. The constant self-pity of Katherine and everything had to be Jenny's fault, and never Katherine's fault was annoying. I was also bewildered how it was always Jenny who had to fix a relationship regardless of how Katherine's character was developed. A letter? really? That was the only explanation that she tried to make a relationship work? the story was also a bit confusing with time changes at random times, and also, i felt the story lost its path. it felt rushed. the death of the main villain was picking up in books 1 and 2, and all of a sudden, in book 3 with no build-up, we find out in a newspaper.... i'm not sure if I want to keep on with this character development of Katherine. i can really tell the author puts a lot of emphasis on this character, and everything is about her. it's a nevet ending internal struggle w her that iy is utterly tiring to listen to.
