Steamy, Unexpected Love ❤️

Jake and Clara have known each other for a while away from their normal, everyday lives, without even full names. Then they are surprised one day to run into each other in a very unexpected place. This leads to a change in their existing 'arrangement' as they begin dating and pursuing an actual relationship. They both have to work their unfortunate pasts, Clara's being much more dramatic, and they also have to balance this with their jobs and being single parents. The strong chemistry that Jake and Clara had in the beginning turns to sizzling! 🔥 I enjoyed reading about their relationship, and the obstacles they faced, but I really loved the extra component of introducing their adorable kids into the dynamic. And could Nellie be any cuter?!

James Cassidy and Avery Reid are both newer narrators to me, and I've been missing a really good thing! Trust me, listen to them now. 🙂 James Cassidy has a comforting voice for Jake which also turns sexy or even commanding at times when talking to Clara, or compassionate when talking to his daughter. And I melted every time he calls Clara 'Mama', something about the way he says it. 🥵 Avery Reid has the perfect voice for Clara, a confident businesswoman but also a sensitive and soothing Mom for the kids. And her voice for 3 year old Nellie is absolutely perfect! Both are them brought so much to the story and made me want to keep listening!

Great Story

Loved the story. The narrator’s did a great job bringing the characters to life. Loved the sweet and spicy combo and the love of the characters. My first Julia Wolf book and I will definitely read more. Her character development was wonderful!

I can't be objective

Julia Wolf can do no wrong at this point so take my review with a grain of salt. I will say though, Jake is in the running for #1 Book Boyfriend. God, he's fabulous.

Sweet Sweet with Spice

Strong but vulnerable characters, a feel good story with sweet humor. I really enjoyed being able to relax & laugh along with the spiciness.

Wow! James Cassidy's voice makes me melt! Hot! Hot! Hot!

I love this series and this book is so good!

Both MC's have history and baggage that they bring to the table.

Clara Rossi is a single mom after her husband did horrible business things that landed him in jail right before she gave birth to their sweet little girl. She is not looking to date but a hook up with a hot biker an hour outside of town is absolutely something she is down for...Multiple times.

Jake is a single dad who is working for his families company but not exactly happy there. He would rather be working in the garage on cars. He can't get the hot woman CeeCee out of his mind and keeps going back for more.

These two are suddenly thrown into each others orbit outside of their hook ups. Quickly learning who each other really is. Jake is down for more hooking up but Clara is hesitant due to her past and her daughter. Jake also has a past that he has some lingering trauma from and is trying to keep his daughter out of the situation to keep her and himself from getting hurt again.

Can these two get past their insecurities and truly give it a real shot? Its a great time listening and finding out! Julia Wolf's writing is fun, flirty, and easy to follow.

The perfect balance of sweet and spice!

This is my first Julia Wolf novel, as well as my first James Cassidy listen! They have both gone into the “immediately listen” category. ❤️❤️The story was just a perfect balance of all the goodness - spice, sweetness, drama, and a little heartbreak. The narrators did a phenomenal job telling this story!! I cannot wait for book two!

I have been impatiently waiting for this audio book for what seems like forever and it was so worth the wait. The character development was amazing. The story line was easy to relate to and was a welcomed change from my normal dark romance books.
