Amazing read. I did the audiobook and it was Easy to listen to. I listened to the book in one day. Heartbreaking to hear that anyone has to go through all she has in the sport. Glad to hear she found her voice for herself and others. Always a joy to watch perform as well. Highly recommend this book.

Fantastic!!!

Listening to Jordan’s book with my 8yr old level 6 daughter has been fantastic. I am so sad for all the things Jordan had to endure in her gymnastics career but I am forever grateful for the giant leaps she has helped make in the culture of gymnastics.

Triumph

I knew of the controversy with Jordan’s metal being taken away, but hearing her story of competing in the sport since childhood was very interesting. She sets the record straight on the facts surrounding the timeline in question during the Olympics and tells the world how incredibly supportive and loving her parents and family are. Great story!

How she was wrongly stripped of her bronze medal. I truly hope she gets the justice she deserves one day soon!

I truly love her story. She’s overcome so much in her life at such a young age. I wish her more success in her career and life!

A real in depth book of Jordan’s journey

I love how raw and emotional Jordan is in this book. This is a perfect example that hero’s are not the victors but who are willing to be vulnerable.

Jordan’s endurance!

I enjoyed the story of this two time Olympian! This young woman went through quite a journey of criticism and self doubt caused by coach X. It’s difficult to fathom someone could accomplish what she did being ridiculed by the public for not being the standard. I love that the standard has changed and she and Simone Biles, Gabby, Douglas, and other black gymnast have changed the way gymnastics and gymnast look today.

She is that girl!!!

The amount of tears I shed listening to this… wow. Beautifully written. Her story needs to be heard and racist people need to LEAVE HER ALONE. I love you Jordan and I am so so sorry for all the hate and hurtful things you have been through. You are that girl. Thank you for sharing and being so vulnerable.

Give Jordan her medal back!!!

I really don’t have the words to describe my feelings. As a former gymnast having dealt with some of the hardships, body-shaming and hair complaints and as a child, Jordan’s story resonates deeply with me and so many others but also sheds a big light on all of our stories as black gymnasts. I’m heartbroken but happy to hear and see Jordan thriving again after dealing with so much.

She most definitely is and will always be…THAT GIRL!!!

Jordan ISSS that girl!!!

Jordan speaks her truth. I wish she dropped more names and talked about the embezzlement charges her mom faced and how that affected her. It's ok though. Voice acting was 💯💯
I loved hearing about her relationship with Simone and the other golden girls during the 2024 Olympics. I am more than certain there will be a part 2 where she discusses what happens in the final years of her collegiate career and if she returns to the Olympics in 2028. She still won bronze in my eyes idc what the Romanians say. ❤️
