Acerca de esta escucha

Statement analysis is the process of analyzing a persons words to see if the person is being truthful or deceptive. There are usually several ways you can phrase a statement. People will word their statement based on all their knowledge. Therefore, their statement may include information they did not intend to share. I Know You Are Lying will show you what to look for in a verbal and written statement to determine if a person is telling the truth. The statement analysis techniques will also show you how to obtain additional information from a statement.

Also included is an analysis of eight high profile cases. An examination of these cases will help you review the statement analysis techniques, and it will show you who is being truthful and who is being deceptive in the following cases:

  • The Oklahoma City Bombing
  • The O.J. Simpson Murder Trial
  • Sexual Molestation Allegations Against Michael Jackson
  • The Assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
  • The Lindbergh Kidnapping and the Trial of Bruno Richard Hauptmann
  • President Clinton and Monica Lewinsky Scandal
  • The Murder of Marylin Sheppard
  • The JonBenet Ramsey Murder

Whether you are conducting an interview or listening to a conversation, when you use the statement analysis techniques you will be able to determine who is being truthful and who is being deceptive.

Great information with 90% being known cases. Author is very detailed with word choice and opened my eyes when normally a guilty person's written or verbal statement would not be suspicious.

This book changed the way I ask questions and listen to answers, from my day to day interactions, to my most serious of interrogations.

From a detective

I have always had a “sixth sense” that something was off with people sometimes and this helped me understand why! Excellent read!

Fascinating!

This was very interesting with a lot of detailed examples. I am going to focus much more on people’s words. This is just as intriguing as learning about body language.

Very detailed analysis

Very good, both educational for anyone wanting to improve their investigative skills as well as super entertaining and enlightening on breaking down some of the highest profile true crime in history.

Brilliant

Bit situational but you can apply this to your own life. I would rate it 9 our or 9 tuna fishes

I mean its true and it works

The book was okay and interesting enough but it really wasn't what I expected it to be. It gave some insight on words people use to decipher whether or not they're lying, but I didn't feel like it went in depth. it was more about the main crime stories. Though I did like hearing his take on some of those mainstream crimes.

ok

Number one narrator spoke too fast. Too much detail on president Clinton. Most people don’t know so much about language and unnecessary words.

Okay but not great

Boring and repetitive . 3 words says it all for this review, but Audible requires a min number of words to submit. smh!
