Brilliant- really good!

Bad Mommy is an immensely entertaining yet genuinely creepy tale of personality disorders gone wild. Fig Coxbury wants what Jolene Avery has- a handsome psychologist husband, a beautiful little daughter and stylish friends. Fig sets her sights on the family, moving next door and inserting herself as a fixture into the family, all the while planning her takeover. Husband Darius is not all that he appears. Jolene now has her hands full. Told from these three points of view, this novel kicks into high gear from the start and doesn’t let up. Fascinating, haunting, scary and a little too easy to picture happening in real life, which makes it all the more interesting. Highly recommended!

MUST READ NOW- Amazing Adult Book

Ok, so for the lady that described it as” pornographic” must be a real prude- not to say it isn’t sexual at times, but in no way does the story revolve around sex or maybe a little but I enjoyed it ;) This book is AMAZING!!! So good- MUST READ- I love stores with different parts told from different character POV’s- I don’t want to give away anything but it is GREAT, and at times talks about sex- but nothing a normal adult would be offered by to the point it ruins the book! It’s so good!

Epic

This book FLOORED ME. i simply couldn't stop listening even well after i had gotten home from work and showered and even had me staying up well into the night so i could finish. The disturbing but perfectly executed way she got into the mind of an insane woman and spoke hee mind as easily as if the thoughts were her own that she had just been recalling from earlier that day and how drastic the change from each perspective was and by the end when everything comes together i obsessively purchased all her books so that i might reclaim the awe of listening to a well written and perfectly executed master piece. the voice acting btw is SUPERB! I have a sneaking suspicion that the voice actor for the crazy lady might well have lost a piece of her own sanity voicing this one out

Entertaining, good for a short beach read/listen

Bad Mommy is a fairly entertaining book. It a psychological thriller that's fairly simple and to the point. The best part about the audible book is that it's told in three different perspectives, by three different narrators.

I would liken the book to Single White Female meets The Deep End of the Ocean. If you've seen the former movie, and read the latter book, you will understand the reference.

Not awful, not great, but a fairly decent and quick listen.

Maximum twist achieved

I love Tarryn Fisher. But this book goes beyond her other books. Titilating and enticing until the very end. With a real twist. Not a “oh wow it was the husband all along” twist. A “wait what? I need to listen to this b*tch again” kind of twist. The wives is her best work to date but this one is delicious. Go for it. You wont be sorry.

Not my favorite of Tarryn.... I liked the character development and the three POVs. But story was just okay. Very predictable.
