Good story until the end

The narrators chosen for this book were all wrong. I don’t know how to explain it other than their accents are annoying. The plot seemed good and I was interested to see what happened next. Then the last 30 minutes of the book happened and I was so mad for wasting so much time on it. The ending could have been so strong but it fell flat and annoyed me. I think I need a break from this genre.

I was really underwhelmed by this story - I guess I was expecting more. It could have been better, the story had more potential.

Incomplete ending

Enjoyed the book until the end. Lots of loose ends. Random details from the book never followed up on.

Kate

I’m not finished listening to this, but OMG the narrator doing “Kate’s” part need to learn how to make the short e sound. It was bad enough that she keeps saying “bad” instead of “bed,” but when she said “chest” followed by “breast” using the short a sound I got strange looks for shouting “Oh my God!” It’s just too annoying.

Best book I’ve listened to yet

Wow. I LOVE THIS BOOK! I never wanted it to end. It is different than most domestic thrillers and the concept of a cult was very interesting to me. I did not see the twist coming at the end, either! I have recommended this book for friends who also were left speechless. The performance was great and the writing and dialogue really blew me away. Do yourself a favor and listen to this book!!!

Good story

Really enjoyed the story, liked the different narratives. Didnt like the male narration, shouls have been male narrators.

Very well written. I didn't want the book to end. Kept me riveted to the end.

fizzed out at the end

captured my attention from the first word. I loved the different characters and their stories. however the end came and i was disappointed there wasnt more. it just kinda ended. it wasnt as shocking as i was hoping, and was just all the sudden over. however, worth the listen. the narrators were outstanding.

I loved this book, take my word for it, this book is wonderful!!! I have been an Audible reader for over 10 years and this book is in my top 10 list for sure!!

This is a very very well written book. I saw a lot of great reviews and a few bad ones so I was scared. But seriously this is such an amazing book. Well written very well narrated.
