About the performer

Anthony Mackie, a Juilliard-trained actor, is known for his remarkable talent and versatility. He first gained recognition for his portrayal of Tupac Shakur in the off-Broadway production Up Against the Wind. Shortly thereafter, he made his impressive film debut as Papa Doc in 8 Mile, catching the eye of director Spike Lee. Mackie went on to star in several notable films, including Million Dollar Baby, The Manchurian Candidate, and The Man.
His performance in Brother to Brother earned him Spirit and Gotham Award nominations, and the film won the Special Dramatic Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. In 2006, Mackie appeared in five different films, showcasing his range in genres from drama to comedy.

Tony Goldwyn’s latest feature directing project, Ezra, with Bobby Cannavale and Robert De Niro, debuted at the Toronto Film Festival and is awaiting release. Goldwyn can currently be seen on screen in the much celebrated film Oppenheimer. Other film credits include the award-winning ensemble of King Richard, Divergent, The Pelican Brief, Kiss the Girls, Nixon, The Substance of Fire, The Last Samurai, and the box office smash Ghost.
Goldwyn made his feature directorial debut with A Walk on the Moon. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and received special recognition from the National Board of Review for Excellence in Independent Filmmaking. Other feature directing credits include The Last Kiss, Someone Like You, and Conviction, which won Best Film at the Boston Film Festival and was awarded a Freedom of Expression honor from the National Board of Review.

Kind of predictable but had a couple of twists and very good production and preference.

I liked the story and the performance. Always enjoy listening to a good “movie”.
