They are the key to defeating the newly crowned “King” Edmund and saving the Vampire Kingdom from a return to the old days. Days filled with unchecked cruelty, torture, and mayhem.

It would take a little cunning and loads of audacity to even attempt to negotiate an alliance between two species that have been warring for centuries.

Luckily, I’ve got both in spades.

EXCELLENT!!

I have to say first that this story is so well written. I am however, so incredibly frustrated with the cliffhanger!! It seems like it's taken forever for this to come out, and I'm left hanging! lol Shannon really knows how to keep you engaged though. On the edge of your seat type of engaged! The narrator's did very well, but if you're going to have a male and female narrator, PLEASE have them do the characters all throughout the book in duet. It's so frustrating to have it go back and forth with the male narrator doing the female voices in his chapter, and the female doing the male voices in hers. I don't understand why they don't just perform it duet rather than dual. It would make the performances that much better. Overall well done though. Definitely worth a credit!

Action, Spice and Betrayal

Sienna is back at it with this second book. She is still awesome (g-rated for amazon) and extremely headstrong. She is in fact so headstrong that it kinda starts to become a flaw with her in this book. She has a lot of trials that happen to her in this one and you can see how all of it hits at one go. Love it can't wait for the next one and we get to see a few other love stories start to unfold I'm really looking forward to more of those!!

Amazing

What an amazing next installment in to this captivating series. So many things come to light in this book. So many secrets revealed and it definitely keeps the reader on their toes. With that ending I don’t know how I’m going to wait patiently for the next book.

Great series wished I’d known there would be a cliffhanger 3rd book not out yet. HUH‼️

Excellent

I can't get enough of Sienna and Dominic's hot and steamy scenes. They happen when least expected. The Narrators do a fantastic job keeping you engaged throughout the entire book. Bravo.

A Better Story

This second story is better for me because it didn’t sound like a smut story but had more of the plot in it than the first. Now I can’t wait to listen/read the third book. I think it’s one of those series that gets better as it goes.

Seriously loving this new world and the connection between Sienna & Dominic, her brooding Vampire General… 🥵🔥

Most of this installment takes place in the Wolf territory and we get a tiny peek/teaser at the Angel territory. It was interesting seeing the stark differences between the Vampires and Wolves way of life, as well as some of the similarities.
We finally get some answers about Sienna and her “gifts”, which also opens more questions as well. Things definitely heat up between her and Dom. 🥵🔥
Dominic’s story gets more interesting and complicated. I loved learning more about his past and it definitely explains why he is the way he is. Boy does he have his hands full! To quote the man himself, “The women in my life were bloody courageous, but also vexing beyond comprehension.” Ya well, that about sums it up, but I don’t think he’d want them any other way TBH.
The toughest part as a voyeur in this world, is the Mars/Venus factor with communication or lack there of. As a woman I’m practically screaming at Dom and Will, “Just tell them what you’re thinking you idiots! Be blunt and let them decide their fates!” But alas, stupid Mars men do everything bass-ackwards… 🤦🏼‍♀️

Can’t wait to see how Dominic and Sienna’s trilogy ends with their final story, “Claimed by Fate”

Well written and adsorbing story.

The books 1 and 2 could have been one book the story flows so well. I’m looking forward to reading book 3.

Intrigue, Mywtery & More

This book starts right where Hunted by Fate left off, and you'd better buckle up - you're in for a wild ride! There's an ample amount of intrigue, mystery, and danger to keep you hooked to the final page. There are new characters and even creatures to add a different twist! Aaaaaand.... even some adult spice! It's well written and very tasteful without detracting from the world or characters she's built.

I want to obsess over this series since I love Dominic's character and the world Mayer's created, but there's just something missing for me. This is another fast-paced second installment; but I do think it's a bit rushed. This feels like it could be another longer series with the intricate details she's added, so I'm worried how much ground will be covered in the next and final book in this trilogy. I am looking forward to seeing if Dominic and Sienna finally get some sort of a happily ever after. I really really hope they do!

Highly entertaining!

I find it absolutely amazing that the prologue of this book was a portend to the final chapter!! A genius way to show how this wonderful word circles back around!

In this installment we meet up with Sienna as she leaves the vampire territory for wolf territory at breakneck speeds! Of course this is where things begin to go wrong as well. Bloodworms are spreading quicker than the news of King Sterling’s death, can they be outrun?!
Even once Sienna, Bee, and Will make it to wolf territory it doesn’t mean they are welcome with open arms. Danger follows Sienna everywhere she goes and this territory is no different. The more Sienna’s life is in danger the more her powers seem to spark leaving everyone, including herself, wondering just what she is.
The heartbreak and the betrayal continue for Sienna and for her friends. I love every single one of these characters, but especially Sienna and Bree!
I absolutely cannot wait to get the next installment, I am 100% invested!
