About this listen

A STORM APPROACHES

An invitation from the godbeast, Mother Dragon, takes Souma to the Star Dragon Mountain Range to attend the Contract Ceremony, where contracts between knights and dragons are formed. There, he meets and befriends flightless dragon Naden, who has always been taunted for her inability to fly. But Souma's attempts to make her realize her own value are rudely interrupted when the Mother Dragon prophesies impending disaster—an unforeseen calamity is about to strike the Star Dragon Mountain Range, and Souma's caught right in it!

Great book, developments happening. DO NOT SKIP.

One of my favorite series. The new character's great and looking forward to seeing where she goes. Nice to see Souma getting to take a break from the kingdom building for one book. Though it still progressed in the background.
Though this ordeal still had diplomatic purposes.
Overall, this was a fun episode. Don't skip it because 1 lame review tells you to.
Hopefully the harem doesn't get too big. We know how anime titles are. I'd like to remember who is who.

Another great book.

I really like this series, and I'm looking forward to the next installment.

And the BJ Harrison does an amazing job.

Good, but not the best in the series.

After what I believe is a great volume 5, volume 6 is not bad, but not as good as volume 5. I still recommend it though.

Fun and entertaining

Look at this point I'll say this much the book was fun and enjoyable. Considering the next one comes out in a few weeks I'll give it a small pass for being short. as it sort of feels like they separated it into two volumes when it could have just been one. Would recommend if you have the spare credit but honestly I would recommend waiting until Volume 7 comes out and buying both of them together with 2 credits.

Im here for a fantasy story

If theres one thing I can't stand is when a fantasy story is like woah we're actually on earth but in the future. I know it's a irrational dislike to have but in my opinion it was all good until they started speculating the please do not mess up my fantasy story with sifi. all that being said still love the ane and this dragon arc in anime form will be great I bet.

Poor representation of the series

Really enjoy the series, love being able to see the world form over time with the historical callbacks and implementing future knowledge in a magical medieval setting.
This book had none of that sweet gooey goodness, to be down to brass tax, it was a glorified ugly duckling story, except ugly duckling is a dragon. That's it, not an exaggeration, the entire book deals with her not fitting in and how what makes her different saves the day... yay.... not what I was here for,
TLDR:skip this one, you won't miss anything really, he gets a dragon wife and comes home.

Googled this for the author

The phrase “Roger that” originated in the early days of radio communication and military phonetic alphabets:

I'm on book 8 and I can't take it anymore. it started in this book and it's ruining it for me. WHY!! is that all the bad ass dragon says? and it's not even technologically possible she knows what that's referring too.
