Matt Shipman is the co-narrator!
OMG! The producer got the Voice Actor Matt Shipman, Hajime's voice! He is a fantastic voice actor! Obviously, the story is good, too. I hope that you like it.

Great Story, Wanting More!
I saw the two seasons of the anime first, so the book was a surprise. It’s so much greater in detail…I’m loving it! I can’t wait for the rest of the story!

Better than the anime?!
I was such a big fan of the anime but when I learned that there was a light novel on here I was so excited! It definitely didn’t disappoint! The story was so fun to experience again with all of the extra details that the anime didn’t provide! I cannot wait for the second book!

unusal but youll like it
i dislike that the other books in this series are not available this book was really good i like how diffrent the magic system was and in particular for the main character i dislike that the vampire chick turns from interesting twist to bimbo

Better than the anime
Despite the terrible combat animation in the first season, I really like the Arifureta anime, so I was excited to see that J-Novel Club has been following Yen Press in trying to get the English dub voice actors to narrate the light novels. It did not disappoint. I think this part of the series really benefits from the extended time, since we learn a lot more about the social dynamics of the class, and the relationships between the characters. Also, since the combat animation was so bad, honestly I enjoyed both Matt and Morgan's narrations of the fights at least as much as I did watching them.
My one hope for future books is that they do more of a team narration for the books, rather than having one person read an entire chapter. Especially since the chapters are so long, we lose a lot of the benefits of dual narrators when there are 5-10 POV changes within each chapter, even if they don't trade off in dialogue in the same sections, at least having the character being followed determine who is reading would be nice.
That said, I'm not even taking a star off for that, since I thought both of them did such a great job. I'm just hoping in the future that they can make that improvement.

Even better than the anime
This is the best anime to novel I have ever read. You can feel the author's love bleeding through his words. I cannot wait for the next book to come out.

Great light novel series
I’ve enjoyed this light novel many times and was excited to see it as a audio book. If there is one thing to improve is have male voice actor handle the male parts and the female voice actor handle the female parts instead of having it split the book in half for one then the other it would improve the immersion and overall quality definitely buying the rest in this series as it my favorite series. Looking forward to seeing them released
