I love baseball and this book!!!

This is the 2nd book and I really enjoyed both of them. The narration by both guys was so good. McClain’s struggle is heartbreaking. Being by yourself is hard to deal with especially when you push others away. Follow this baseball team as they work to win games, struggle with life and school and learn to love!!!!

Mase had me crying!

I love that sweet boy! This is a very slow burn and honestly a realistic (but happy) ending! I feel in love with these two, I wish got more tome both them as a couple at the end but it was good nonetheless.

Came for the Vibes, Stayed for the Feels

I adored this book so much more than I expected going into it. If you’ve read book one, you already know it’s a fun, low-angst ride—easy to devour in one sitting. But book two? While it’s still an easy read, it packs so much more punch.

The double bi awakening was immaculate. The emotional pull—way deeper than I thought I was signing up but still keeps the playful banter and chaotic charm you’d expect from a group of college baseball players. But underneath that, there are layers—so many rich, well-balanced layers. I came in thinking I was here for a good time, and suddenly I was knee-deep in a story about identity, friendship, longing, and love.

Honestly, I only picked this up because it was free in the Audible Plus catalog, but now? I need to own a physical copy. It’s one of those books that sneaks up on you with how full and satisfying it is. If you’ve passed it by, rethink that choice—this one deserves to be read and loved.

A good story with believable characters and setting. An enjoyable read! I highly recommend it to anyone who is wondering about their feelings for someone else!

Heartfelt and very hot

Loved this book. This is a very meaty story but always with the sexiness that Christina Lee adds to her books.

Fabulous!

Loved this story so much! I could hardly wait for Hone Plate to come out in audio after listening to Bat Boy and I wasn't disappointed. Loved the main characters and the supporting cast as well. Great character development and the excellent narration brought it home. I love baseball and having that as the backdrop for this romance was familiar and cozy. Christina Lee always delivers heartfelt love stories with the perfect amount of heat and sizzle. I highly recommend This series.

Cute

A little cheesy overall… but it was still really cute. I liked that they kept in the family homophobia as this is a real struggle MANY in the LGBTQIA+ community can relate to

Such a realistic story

Mason and Dom had a love that was a very familiar and realistic. From Mason's insecurities and fear of rejection and abandonment, to Dom realizing that Mason really doesn't have anyone to rely on. And while he does have loving family he's still fears what their reactions might be to his sexuality.

There's a bit of angst, but it definitely gets swaddled up in comfort.

Moving!!!

This book will do things to you that one should prepare for. I screamed at the speakers, cursed them, and it’s AWESOME! It literally tore me up, had me crying, laughing, smiling, and really relating on a personal level with Mason McLain’s character. I truly enjoyed this book and you’d be crazy not to listen to it. I highly recommend not only because it’s an amazing story, but has the best narrator on audible. Iggy Toma is my favorite! Great read all around!!!
