I loved this low angst love story. The relationship develops over time, in a natural way. Not instalove, but not long and drawn out. Beautiful narration.

For a story oriented around collegiate athletes and sexual discovery, a well traveled theme, this book finds a way to make the theme fresh and engaging.
I enjoyed it very much.

Iggy Toma Does It Again

I’ve just been going through Audible listening to as many of Iggy Toma’s narrations as possible, and this one doesn’t disappoint! Love all of the authors he narrates for, and the sweetness of this book was on point!!! I love the way Toma brings the books he narrates to life, and this was yet another amazing listen! 😊

Jock + twink

This was a fun quick listen, about two guys falling for each other. Brady is just figuring everything out, but still knows what he wants. And Kellen knows who he is and what he wants. Both lack experience, so they are each other’s first in a lot of areas. It takes a little while to get spicy, but once it does it’s hot. Kellen is kind and smart, but more feminine than I expected based on the book description, and Brady is a total jock golden retriever. They’re cute together, but if you were expecting two hot jocks getting together, you might be disappointed. It’s short, sweet, and spicy~ I recommend if those things interest you.

This was a nice break from my reality and the higher angst books I normally read. Would read/ listen again. Definitely recommend.

Pleasantly Pleased

I was able to suspend disbelief for the whole story which is rare for me. Usually as a gay man, the intimate scenes kick me out of the story. But they were surprisingly accurate in this book. Also, the characters did not objectify others in this story which was very refreshing. Recommend this book. Let’s see how book 2 goes. Thank you for reading.
