Ahhh the way this open my mind to reality is crazy!

For the longest time I never understood why people thought we all lived in the Matrix and while I could understand their reasoning I couldn’t grasp the concept of not controlling my own body. But after listening to this book I understand it’s a spiritual trap, not physical but mental. It goes in the depth of energy and atoms and how we are all connected. Definitely going to have to listen to it a couple of times because of the amount of knowledge that it holds. The one thing I wish it would have gone deeper though is the history and origins of how these teachings spread but still grateful for the knowledge I gained.

The Kybalion begins with this sentence: “The lips of wisdom are closed, except to Understanding.” In order to understand, there must be “light}. Understanding leads to wisdom. Wisdom can be passed on but only to those who are willing to experience, master, and better themselves. Note that wisdom is the higher octave of learning, meaning that one can learn something to get by in life but still not have wisdom.

One of the most important books I have listen. I'm not too much into mysticism since many of the ideas seem groundless, but this book is well-written, logical, and not far-fetched. Science is about the universe being mattered. This book reveals the great, hidden truth that all matter in the universe, is actually the mind.

I feel that I have a much better understanding of the foundation of the universe and how I show up in it. This is definitely a book to go back and read over and over again so as not to forget the natural laws at work. I am inspired to continue diving deeper into the ancient wisdom that serves as the foundation of all that we know in the modern world. More importantly, I am able to see the 7 Hermetic principles at work all around me, all the time. I am eager to expand my awareness of these laws and practice their applications in my life.

All the great truths are here and everything I've read since leads back to this book. If you're looking for truth with no distractions or fluff - this is the one for you!

I'm almost done with this book

I'm almost done with this book. As a BOTA student, I have no idea where this book has been all of my life. It fills in a lot of gaps in my training. It doesn't tell you much about HOW to go about actively applying Hermetic principles, but it helps tremendously with understanding the back story, as it were.
