About this listen

His Wranglers fit him like a glove. A really tight, leaving nothing to the imagination, glove. Codie wants nothing more than to shove that Wrangler-covered butt straight into the mud.

Ace Valentine has a smart mouth, a devil-may-care attitude, and those wicked eyes aimed directly at her.

She doesn't know what to do with that kind of attention. Especially not from the sweet-talking man that has no problem charming every woman that enters his orbit - everyone but her, at least.

Ace isn't sure why Codie Spears had her panties in a twist when it comes to him, but every snub and insult she hurls his way brings him closer and closer to falling for her.

He's not sure what it is about the town's bad girl that draws his attention, but every encounter they have leaves him wanting her until there's nothing else left to do but have her.

The only thing is, she's been convinced by everyone around her that she's not good enough. Tell a person that she's a piece of trash enough times, and eventually she'll start to believe it. It's going to take a lot of smooth-talking and gentling on his part to get her to see that she's worth it. And once he has her where he wants her? Well, she'll make a mighty fine rancher’s wife.

I LOVED THE COWBOY STORY!!!

I loved this story but had one issue with the horse Poppy she was starting to ride, if I'm not mistaken she indicates the horse is "a year old"? I ran back a few times, thinking maybe it says "eight year old" not "a year old", but still thought I heard "a year old". As a horse person, we know that you can't ride a year old horse.

All in all I loved the story, I loved the narration and look forward to more in this series.

Sweet light love story

Fun, light love story with horses, bulls, and old friends and rivals. Nothing riveting but still pleasant summer read.

Wow

I so enjoyed this story. Cowboy, ex military and all round great alpha with an independent police scene investigator who partially owns an adjacent ranch. The dialogue is snappy and funny. The sub characters are entertaining. The animals add flavor. All make an entertaining story.I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I loved the male narrator. I could listen to him speak for months on end. And the female narrator was perfect for the role too.

Herd this way for a fun story!!

Lani Lynn Vale did it again. She pulled another great story out of her head.
Between Ace, Codie and Scooby, I couldn't quit laughing & smiling.
And of course, Maxine Mitchell and Sebastian York were the perfect narrators for this series. They nailed the parts!!

Sexy has a sensitive side.

Sexy has a sensitive side. Vale puts emotions in touch with a tempting love story that is shadowed by life long insecurities and heartaching bias. Herd That aims straight at the heart and scores a bulls-eye. Ace and Codie are fighting to live their own truth as their worlds are falling apart. The playboy with the soft heart and the wild child with the shattered soul are a wicked combination of naughty, nice and inspiring. For every heartache that brings forth a tear, there is a sense of strength that will make your emotions stand up and cheer.

SHORT AND SWEET

Another good story by Lani Lynn Vale!

I don’t want to leave spoilers, but if you have read or listened to this author, you’ll be familiar with what comes. The telling and the circumstances is what changes.

In this story, both main characters have gone through rough patches in life. One has lived through tragedy, the other has been scorned for things done in the past. They both clash when they first meet, but they have chemistry.

As our main characters get to know each other, they begin to fall in love! The antagonist is a mean girl and she gets her comeuppance!

We get a sweet Happily Ever After and a great epilogue.

Recommended audiobook!

Hilarious and Super Sexy

This is my favorite of the four because I can absolutely relate to the heroine Cody 🤣 She is me in a nutshell. Plus, I love Ace he's just so.... Perfect mix for Alpha and sensitive. They were amazing characters!!! Beautifully done Lani!!!
