Terrible generated voice

This was a great story but the AI voice was horrible… no expression, mispronounced words…. The author should have never agreed to this type of reading… it’s a great story and deserved to be read by an actor.

Decent storyline, terrible narration

Decent storyline but the narration was terrible! I’ve listened to several books now read by AI, and it’s absolutely abhorrent. There is no inflection, no variation in voice at all and it takes away from the story. Too many mispronunciations and errors.

The monotone narration is boring and irritating

AI has no place on Audible. It ruins the otherwise interesting book. I’ll avoid any title that uses AI.

Hard to follow

The virtual voice has come a long way. This story seems particularly confusing-I think the main reason is the voice does not articulate the right words, it gets distracting.

besides being ready by a computer or whatever. This book was just bearable. On the surface it was ok but there were so many things left unexplained and just thrown together. The details were extremely lacking.

Truly Awful Narration

I am so sorry that Audible has chosen to take the cheap way out and use virtual voice. Too many mispronounced errors! Flat and boring tone. Unfortunately I cannot review the story - voice ruined it. Writers should refuse robotic reading of their novel. So disappointed. There is a reason why performers need to read these books. Horrible.
