Simeon Jones has a secret—he is soft-hearted. Despite his scandalous exterior, he will quietly give money to orphans (after all, he was one himself), animals, and damsels in distress. One such damsel is Lady Myrtle Allen—but it’s not her funds that are lacking, but rather she needs to get to London—fast.

STEM heroine and Artist hero
Myrtle and Symeon are an unlikely duo who form a fake engagement to help with her niece’s come out. Sweet story but at times the crass language took me out of the story.

It was fun to listen to.
Written with a lot of humor. Concise, many romances are at least 100 pages too long - not this one. Narration is wonderful.
