Surprisingly Good
Love the author's perspective on being COURAGEOUS and facing different fears you may have.
She touched on many different aspects of fear.

Hello Motivation!
I got this book on the recommendation from work, and it seemed like it might be interesting. I didn't expect to end this book planning meetings and difficult conversations to push for the changes I'd been too afraid to make beforehand. This was an amazing experience. Now I need the hardcopy version, so I can go back and make notes!

Great for working on yourself
First of all, Michelle Poler is an awesome narrator. There is so much enthusiasm and effort put into every single word she speaks. Even if the book was boring, which it isn’t it would still sound interesting thanks to Poler’s bright energy in her narration. This book is supposed to get you engaged with the text so you can learn about and work on yourself. I listened to this book on Audible, so I didn’t get to annotate the book as she asks us to do. At the end of each chapter, she’d remind us to visit her website to participate in some online activities that ameliorate the overall reading experience. I only actually did this once. It was great, though. There were videos and links and other helpful activities. I’m sure doing all of these activities would have made this book better, but I enjoyed the book without doing all of them. Sometimes, I like to listen to Audible in the dark while I’m trying to go to sleep, so I didn’t really want to check the website at every chapter I finished. Regardless, the book was great. I learned so much about myself (including what is holding me back from completing my goals, why I’m not assertive, my biggest fears, etc). It’s a very feel-good book that will get you out of bad moods. The chapters are not dull at all, they’re all very fascinating and unique. After listening, or “reading” the book on Audible, I decided to purchase a physical copy on Amazon for my mother, for Christmas. I know she’ll love it just as I did.
