Well written and easy to follow. I was impressed with the extraordinary amount of scripture documentation throughout the book. Every topic and concept was backed up with Scripture references. It was so good I could hardly wait to get to the next chapter. I am now listening to the book a 2nd time for details I missed. Anyone wanting to know about the after life will be interested in this book.

Wonderful book!

This book comforted me and opened my eyes to a new way of looking at heaven. I am so glad I read it! That being said, there were a few things I think could’ve been improved. First of all, while the book was profound and packed full of truth, it did get repetitive towards the end, and could’ve been shortened a good bit. This leads me to my second point: I imagined for how long the book was, it would have contained a chapter on reconciling how we will feel as believers once we get to heaven and don’t see some of our loved ones there (those who didn’t make it). I know that is a tough subject, but I did feel this book should have at the very least touched on it or acknowledged this very real fear for many. I felt the book spiritually bypassed that subject. And lastly (and this might have been just me), I didn’t enjoy the narration and music very much. It felt very outdated and a little monotone. In fact, I kept laughing at myself because for some reason, every time the music would come on unexpectedly and abruptly at the end of a chapter, it made me jump (haha I wonder if I’m the only one). That being said, those few complaints do not overshadow the value of this book. I would highly recommend it to any believer. It overall greatly encouraged me and really challenged my thinking on heaven. I can’t wait to see my mom and loved ones in heaven one day!

Long but good read

It is very apologetic and written in the form of questions. The narrator failed to excite my about the many options for Heaven.
The author is making every effort to explore more than we can imagine or think of by bring up as many possibilities he can think of or express.

Struggled to capture my imagination.

I have so enjoyed listening to it! funny thing I thought I finished it after about 4 hours and realized I have many hours left to listen! I didn't realize it was such a long book! And now that it's ended I'm sad that there's not more!

It's really brought me balance! Giving me so much hope. whether you feel burdened by what's going on in the world or in your personal life.

BTW his imagination just starts soaring deep in the book ex is there coffee in heaven!?

Sincerely it has made EVERYTHING look small in light of an eternity in Heaven and no longer does it feel overwhelming.

THANK YOU RANDY ALCORN!!!!!!!

Makes life tolerable! I've given two as gifts!

I practically want to start from the beginning again whenever I get to the end. I am excited for heaven, and hope to see YOU (whoever is reading this review) there! I love to think about heaven, and this book is a well written, hope filled perspective, based on the truths of the Bible.

An outstanding book that makes you ponder and look forward to Heaven on a new earth! Randy Alcorn does a fantastic job is getting your mind to dream with help and support from many scriptures in the Bible.
This is a great way to put your mind on eternal things versus so much concerning news about the deteriorating world.
This book is well worth your time and money!

The narrator was great. I looked forward to listening to this each and every time. I did not know how exciting Heaven will be until now.
