I loved this book, the most memorable moment was how Micheal fell in love with Ellie, and the narrator is really good. I actually paid attention to the book itself.

Recommend for your baseball-loving tween

My son and I enjoyed listening to this before bed. He says, “it’s interesting to imagine what it might be like to be a really good player.”

Great sports story

The book showed my 11yr old son the hardships of immigrating and it launched several conversations about why a family would flee Cuba. The characters were real and dynamic. The narrator did a great job with the pace, the voices, and the fluid blend of Spanish and English. We don't speak much Spanish, but we were never lost.

I Can Only Wish

We did not have teachers to help our children learn from Audible books like this. I'm so proud my daughter went into teaching and useses your books to help her student learn . I just read this book and will keep donating to her class for your books.

I felt like I was in the story!

I loved the feeling you get from the hope there is in this book! Because we all have our struggles, but this story shows how we should get through our struggles! We should have hope! And because of the hope in this book, there was a happy ending!

I loved the book but the reader was bad he left out words in places I wonder if the reader had a different version of the book then I had.

THIS WAS THE BEST BOOK EVER!

I liked the plot and how it ends. This book was so good I read it in 1 day. Even thought the book says it 6 hrs. Long it feels like 1 hour! I totally recommend.
