As always Teddy Hamilton did absolutely fantastic job of narrating along with Desiree Ketchum, the two of them made this book even better.Well worth the credit and your time to listen...

I got angry, confused and cried! I couldn’t understand why Knox was the way he was but you really should invest in this storyline! I just loved this book! I Love Teddy Hamilton 🔥 and Desiree Ketchum is amazing!

The climax, which turned out to be anticlimactic, also should have been cut so the HEA could be explored. The mystery just seemed like a weak vehicle for excusing and explaining some of the odd behaviors and rumors. The plot suffers. If it wasn’t for the steam coming off of these sheets of paper, my interest would have waned.

The story is well written, has good spice, and a mystery story to go with it. There is flashbacks of child abuse when the MC was a child. Just a FYI if that’s a trigger. There is a HAE but it doesn’t come until the VERY end. The male main character is dark, brooding, and has touch her and 💀. This is enemies to lovers. The FMC is spirted, smart, and gives back what she’s given.
This book is worth a credit.
