Bluff

Bluff is the second book in the Complicate Parts series. This book needs to be read after Fold as it takes place right where that book ends. This book is the continuation of Preston and Kit and is told from both of their perspectives.

Preston and Kit have had a crazy past. They haven't seen each other in three years, and now they have randomly met in Vegas. Kit will do anything to get the money her parents left her, and her grandmother is not making it easy. She wants her to marry a guy. Kit decides to ask Preston to be that guy, so she can help him out in the long run.

So much happens in this book. Preston is going through some hard times and has some not-so-nice people come after him. Kit is there for him. She knows a part of him others don't, and when they talk bad about him, she tries to stand up for him.

Preston and Kit's relationship develops, but she's still not into guys, and Preston doesn't believe he deserves her. I can not wait to see what happens next in this series. So much has happened in this book, and I'm curious to see where Preston and Kit end up!

That Ending!

This second book was filled with so much drama! The chemistry between Preston and Kit is electrifying! You can feel the need they have for each other, but it’s sad when they are not honest enough to tell each other how they feel. The ending was a big shocker too.

Again Preston's gambling habit reminds me of a drug addiction your going to do it no matter what or who gets hurt. kits sexual is questionable I think Preston is barking up the wrong tree. the cliffhanger caught me of guard.

I need more!

I am so in love with this series, and Audible brought it to life. These narrators were perfect in delivering one of my favorite series!

Alll the emotions

Omgosh this book! I lovvve these two “together” but the story drives made me want to throw my phone. The cliffhanger left my mouth hanging open and yelling omfg…noooooo

Cliffhanger.....boo

Well it is unfortunate this one ends in a cliffhanger so I really should have waited for book 3 so that I could read all three together. So Kit and Preston's story continues as they get to know each other more they both discover for whatever reason they need each other. They haven't quite realized they are actually in love yet, I am guessing that realization and understanding of why Preston is the way he is as well as more about Kit will be revealed in book 3.

Wonderful

This review is for all three books and contains no spoilers.
First, the narration by Melissa Moran and Teddy Hamilton was perfect. The voices fit the characters and both did an excellent job with pacing, enunciation and injecting just enough—but not too much—emotion into their scenes. 5🌟
The plot was unexpectedly multifaceted. It was twisty and exciting; interesting and captivating; heartwarming and angsty. I have to admit I didn’t expect such a high quality book…I expected a much lighter “steam with some plot” book. I was delighted to discover this book was an excellent, multilayered story with some excellent steam.
The author is very talented. I’m looking forward to exploring her entire library.
For the best experience, I highly recommend listening to the Complicated Hearts duet prior to listening to this series as those characters play a large part in this story.
Overall, this was a 5🌟 listen and worth the credits.
