Salvatore does it again
It's astonishing how listening to Salvatore's words can send me through time- back to when, as a child, I first read Homeland, Exile, and Sojourn.
Intuiting what was coming couldn't save me from being brought to tears. Anyone who knows Guen from her time at Drizzt's side will be delighted at this glimpse into her origin.

Loved it! A perfect beginning to a mysterious, beautiful and loved hero, just brilliant! Could make a series with these 3 chapters as well, eventually leading Gweyn to Drizzt. But perfect as is!

origins of beloved characters
Sweet short story that gave details and texture to the magic that is the iconic great cat part of so many stories this author had given us.

Revealing chapter in a mysterious character
Wonderful backstory to a character essential to the Drizzt storyline. His faithful companion the panther Guenhwyvar. Her origin, how she became the statue. Her original bearer and more are revealed within. A wonderful quick and easy listen that will give you an amazing look at a fan favorite character.

Delightful!
I didn't know what to expect, but really enjoyed the story. the narrator was excellent and the short story ended leaving me wanting more.
