So funny!

This whole family makes me laugh. The relationships, the stories from their past, and the humor are very entertaining.

Great story line. Funny, snarky, and characters you love and some to hate.

My only complaint is the narration of the badass main character is too ‘little girly’. Other character voices are spot on. The Grimlock family is one that grows on you and I love them all.

I love these three books they inspire me to understand grim reapers in a new and unique way.

A slow start but...

Slow start but it turns out to be such really wonderful books. I'm very impressed with the entire storyline.

Fun to listen to!

I wasn’t sure in the beginning if I’d like the narrator. But I was pleasantly surprised! I laughed several times during the three different books. One of the things I enjoy most about the author is how she expresses surprise or anger without really swearing. My favorite expression is “crap on toast”!!!!

amazingly funny

extremely funny parts that made me laugh out loud still very sweet with a little bit of romance

Should of been my first choice

I have be ploughing through Amanda’s books for 8 months now. These first 3 books contained NONE of almost patterned phrases and themes that fill almost every other series. There were no quilling looks or denials of snoring, no tomato juice drank or Kardashian digs. I’ve enjoyed her books, the crossovers and characters but the Gen X fascination with all the late 20- something’s is tiresome. The same phases over and over as well. Should have started here from the beginning. Asling Grimlock has made my downtime a delight this past week. Can’t wait to jump into books 4-6!

Aisling is pronounced "Ashling".

For the writer to choose this lovely old name, she should at least tell the narrator how to pronounce it. The Aisling Gray series by Katie McAllister is a good example of the correct way to use the name. It's grating to hear the nasally sound of A-is-ling, blech. "Ashling" is much better. Other than that the story is good so I've gotten the series, but if you ever update this, please change the name mispronounciation.

love the grimlocks.

I started with the only the lonely series (love all of them) with izzy and needed more grimlocks in my life , also wanted all their backstories. it took a little adjusting first because it's a different narrator from the izzy series and the voices are a different but after that its great! you actually get to know the characters especially aiden bc he barely talks in the other books. I was iffy at first bc so many complaints but I'm glad I ignored that.
