About this listen

Sacred, worshiped... hunted.

All Korey O'Caha wants in his immortal life is to keep evil at bay, protect the witches he was destined to teach and to bed as many women as possible. He doesn't want love but he didn't plan on Gigi. Her very presence calls all he vowed sacred in life into question. She quickly becomes his reason for existing but can she ever fully accept him and who he is-a seven hundred year old immortal druid sorcerer? Will the secrets she's hiding be his undoing?

Gigi, the daughter of a great god, could not stand idly by and allow innocent druid children to be slaughtered. She intervened, placing them under her protection. In the end she was imprisoned in a place where time moved differently than here on earth. That was almost 700 years ago. Once freed, she ran as far from the old country as she could. Never did she expect to find ties to the land, let alone a man who stirs her blood the way Korey does.

As shadows from the past resurface, bringing news of an uprising, truth and passion ignite, leaving Gigi at the mercy of Korey.

Series book two and wonderful.

Love Mason Lloyd's narration.

Book two of Immortal Highlanders is about cousin Korey and GiGi. He's a 700-year-old Druid Sorcerer and she is a goddess in hiding. Neither knows about the other special powers. Both are afraid to get involved with a human, each for different reasons.

But the heart, and desire for her won't wait forever. Their pasts are joined and again neither knows it until someone from the past intrudes. Korey could keep his distance as long as GiGi was safe. When dark magic intrudes he shows his true self.

Can he save her? How will their abilities affect their four-year friendship? Will it become more or end? The cousins are still cocky Scotsmen, and still hilarious. The women do their best to control their antics while we just get to laugh and enjoy them. As much as they tease and torment each other when one is in danger we get to see how they really feel.

In the epilogue, we are introduced to the next players and I loved the continuation of the story.

Very entertaining and interesting!!

Sorcerer's, witches, magic, goddesses, druids and hotness all rolled into one. New author and storylines for me, but considering I also listened to Book 1 in this paranormal series I find it funny, sweet, endearing and entertaining. I will continue with the series. The narrator is also new to me and will be checking out some of his other books. Loved his when he did his druid accent. This authors style of writing is new and different to me and I will check out some of her other books...longer ones though. It's good to sometimes try something new and outside of your norm!!

SHORT REVIEW FOR A SHORT STORY

Short and sweet. I love this book. I love Mandy M. Roth. I think I have read or listen to all her stories. The story is brief but the story offers a beautiful world co existing along side humans where magick is real and the bad things that go bump in the night are as well. The druids in this series immortal life mission is to be a beckon of good for both humans (we don't know they exist) as well as other magically folks. Along the way, they find spit fire women that are exactly what they didn't know they wanted.

I love Mason Lloyd's voice and performance. His Celtic accent is just down right delicious. YUMM!!!

Buy the book. It's just under 2 hours and worth the listen.

Goddess of the Grove

I really love the narrator, he gives the characters a real personality. When they laugh, he makes them laugh. I can't wait to listen to the other books.

So good.

This is book 2 in the series and is a stand alone book with a wonderful sweet HEA. I recommend this book to all paranormal lovers. How does a Druid catch a goddess, with wildflowers of course. So looking forward to the next book in the series. The narrator voice is so good, each character just comes to life.

I Tried Again.

I decided to try the next book in Roth's PNR series. Bad idea. Set in that same fascinating supernatural world, pieces of the plot were still left unexplored. Characters again didn't feel fully developed though the chemistry between the two characters was deliciously hot. And then just like book one, the story was over all too soon before it really took off. The narration was good.
