Yet he not only survived but also learned to walk again and in 2016 accepted his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame by singing the hymn that explains his life today: "Amazing Grace".

Randy Travis is amazing

I absolutely love this man and I have been waiting for this for a very long time to come out I cannot begin to describe how influential Randy has been in my own music career and personal life Randy is a special person and I am thankful that he is in this world sharing his beautiful soul thank you Randy for all that you give the world and country music Randy's like and music will continue to inspire musicians and Ordinary People alike for decades to come. I will love you forever and ever amen brother.

Who can you trust? Obviously, no one.

Love Randy's music, did not know a lot about his story. This was an eye opener from childhood onward. The woman, Lib, who got her hooks in him at age 17 (she was 35, and what is the age of consent in that state?) should be ashamed of herself, that is, if she has any humanity at all. Randy is beyond naïve though....but what a huge talent and what a shame about where he is at only 60. Anyone who wants a career in the entertainment industry nd

Excellent Story

It made me cry almost every chapter. In 2005, I had a stroke in my speech area and my right side was completely paralyzed also. The doctor didn't believe I would make through the night. God had other plans. Never give up, you will be doing concerts again soon.

So glad to have gotten this book! It makes you feel like you’ve known Randy all your life. Truly an Amazing Grace story!!!! Christians are not perfect, just saved by God’s Grace.

Being a caregiver is tough, my mom use to say “One sick person will kill ten well people.” Thank God for Mary’s continued, devoted care to Randy! With the help of the good Lord, we can do anything…. I know because I’ve been there myself with family…. Only with Gods help did I get through.

The book inspired me to look further into Randy’s life in pictures… I found it interesting when looking at the house with his first wife compared to the one he has now….. the first house looked very secluded, locking everything out, huge walls around it, cold…..kind of like how his first wife seemed to treat him with his friends…. His house today seems wide open with a fabulous view, and very inviting, so refreshing!

You have so many movies and recordings I haven’t seen or heard yet.
