About this listen

Bree Capri is a YouTuber with millions of subscribers. When it comes to recommending the newest makeup, she’s your best bet. However, when it comes to her love life, she can’t seem to figure it out. Bree is scared of commitment. Anything that has to do with committing scares her. Like, her three-year relationship with her boyfriend, Mike Manning. While Mike wants nothing more than to marry Bree, have children and live their life together, Bree gets hives at the thought of spending forever with one person.

One night, her sister convinces her to check out a new artist whose tour stopped in Atlanta. Bree is captivated by the fact that Lennox Blu’s lyrics speaks to her soul. As she waves her hand, sways her hips, Lennox locks eyes on the beautiful Bree Capri. With demons of his own, and his own fear of commitment, Lennox is willing to get to know the beautiful Bree. One question remains, will either of them be ready for - forever?

Wth

As long as it took for this book to actually get good as soon as he got good it ended abruptly the ending was absolute trash I’m disappointed because it was starting to get good and then just end it

You won’t be disappointed‼️

This was my first time listening to audiobooks but I am a fan of Jahquel books so I like her work! The book was good it held my attention I kinda got lost with the voices on the female parts . The male audio was excellent and I knew who parts were speaking 👍but for the female Some variation there would make it flow better but other than that I will listen again. Overall it was a good book and I enjoyed it 💕

Potentially A Really Good Story

There was a lot goin on in this novella....Initially, I was confused because of the narration....but the story actually talks about 3 sisters...instead of the one....There's some interesting plot twist that occurred and unfortunately there's a lot of story unaddressed....I'm not sure if there is or will be follow up stories about these sisters.....I've still been awaiting follow-up stories to this author's last audiobook Emotionless. She gives you a lot of content without resolution. That is disappointing to say the least. Sean Crisden is an excellent narrator to me.....BUT, Lacy does not work for me with African-American romance. She has a terrible voice and her male voice sounds like the character is congested....More Sean....No Lacy!

It's Cool

The book is just alright. It could have definitely been really good if the author would have dove deeper with the characters. The narration was ok until the men had to do the women's voice and the women had to do the man's voice. Especially the woman doing the man. Again it wasn't horrible but it wouldn't listen again.

Too much going on

This is the second book I’ve heard from this author. The first being Emotionless. Just as in that story, there are too many side characters storylines that don’t have closure in the story. It was deeply confusing how the one sister just confesses something about herself and there’s only 20 minutes left in the story! We hadn’t heard any details of her the entire time until 20 minutes before the novel ends. Like a previous reviewer stated, there’s potential in the story but it’s under developed and felt rushed at the end.

Good

It was a good book. I didn’t like the narrator I felt like she was a little stiff. The ending got me too I think it should be a series book to let us know what else happens or at least have an epilogue.
