Story’s relationship with Jace was so relatable. I could see so much of my life in this book. Great read!

Great storyline. Amazing characters.

Loved it! The twists and turns were everything. I loved how amazing Stori was. She was a loving and caring individual and also amazing in her career, family, etc. Bray was pressure and knew what he wanted and took the steps to achieve it. Read on Kindle and also listened on Audible.

I loved the writing of this story!! Bray is my new book bae. i love how he showed Astoria all the love she was missing. I loved how she finally got to tell everybody off!! that husband had a lot of nerve!! I didn't n t like what she put up with but I'm glad she found her sense. The narration was good now on to the next book in this series. I wish it was more to Bray and Astorias story.❤️❤️❤️

Decent story

I liked the story for the most part.The MC put up with too much disrespect for too long,but overall I enjoyed her ending it for someone who treated her right. the cons was the narrators. The female did fine ,but the male narrator shouldn't have changed his octaves when speaking as Story ,it became annoying at some points hearing him use a " female" voice. Also some of the dialogue was cringe. ie: Story calling Bray " pappa" or saying " x marks the spot".
other than that it was decent .

Relatable and Entertaining!

Loved the story line. I’m a sucker for a quick romance and rescue! lol I wasn’t a fan of the female narrator but I loved the book!

Yes, she finally was honestly really FINE.

This was my first listen to the audiobook written by Jaquel. The narrators were great. The storyline left me with some mixed feelings. It was unfortunate that Stori's marriage was at its low. Her husband was no good and obviously used her. The best thing out of that marriage were her two beautiful daughters. As a result of her daughters, she got married to this man that cheated on her before they married (I believe) and accepted a child by him outside of their relationship. At that point, Stori had an opportunity to not proceed with the marriage. Obviously, she forgave and thought things would get better. Her husband treated her so wrong. He often let her down with his selfish ways. Fortunately, Stori continued to pursue her dreams and became a therapist. The trip with her sister and best friend changed her life. She met a man that was the best thing that happened to her (since her daughters). That is where she found out, he was also in a failing relationship. They both were married and unhappy. Instead of completely ending the relationship, they pursue a relationship with each other. Bray treated her as a queen and was a protector - even though they were not legally available. Then, Stori shared this with her daughters who accepted and supported it (that was odd). I understand that they wanted their mom to be happy. Stori's husband had the nerve to be upset when he found out about that relationship while he was still being unfaithful. I'm a fan of settling the issue(s) before getting into something else so soon. I can imagine all of the drama to encounter before it all settles. To each his own...
