Washing hair in her cousin’s salon is how she keeps money in her pockets and transportation to her AA meetings. When her cousin volunteers her for a live-in housekeeper position for one of her clients, Yves has nothing left to lose, so she accepts.

Overnight she goes from living in her childhood bedroom in Brooklyn to having a master suite in a six-thousand square foot mansion in Buckhead, with a Mercedes truck as her mode of transportation. It doesn’t help that her employer’s fiancé is a fine Black man with fatter pockets than a stuffed scarecrow.

Loved it!!!

I loved this whole book but some of the voices weren’t matching up with some of the characters. But I was not expecting the cliff hanger at the end… OH WOW

The plot

Omg these is an awesome, unforeseen, unpredictable twistable plot!!! This book is engrossing. When I tell you it has a drawing force that pulls you into reading further!!!!! Well listening more. The story line is enough— like seasoning on food when it’s cooked right—there’s no need to add more after it’s cooked. This book is a must read, listen to or however you prefer, just get it. Thank you and job well done. Honestly I’m going to see if there’s a part two so I can continue. Yes, it’s that good.

Really Good and a different story line

I have seen this book come up on my recommended on my kindle and wondered if it was good. Well it is. I am now going to finish reading the series since i listened to book 1. I just wish they would record all the books at once.

but the storyline kept me coming back for more. Yikes, a hot ghetto mess in the BEST way. 😁 The plot twist are super crazy but effortlessly appropriate. I cant wait to hear book 2... #Team Eves.

Fuckin Amazing

I am so glad I got part one and part two at once book one was so amazing and simple. It wasn’t too much going on, but just enough to keep you interested I am immediately about to go and listen to book to write the second do not second-guess this book it’s worth it.
