Difficult to get into, but a great prequel

I really struggled to get into this through the first half. And as much as I love Peter Kenny's work, I was thinking he was the wrong choice for this book series. I particularly struggled connecting in the chapters for Gav Gendin. After half way, it clicked though and it was a fabulous read. Not sure if my disconnect was because I read this first.

Interesting start

I got hooked and will continue to the next book in the series, so far an interesting read.

Really loved the characters and the robotic personalities of their helpers. Great action and mystery. Great storyline. Staring the next book immediately.

This is a great find and a great series. If it wasn't for the Plus catalogue, I would have never found it or given the series a try. I super suggest you start with Book 0. Makes the series way better!

It's one of those books that feels all action and boom - then the characters grow in ways that turns the reader into friends. I love series like this one! Reminds me of (JN Chaney) Renegade Star and (Lindsay Buroker) Star Kingdom. The dialogue is sharp and witty and sometimes deep and meaningful. I like how this author is willing to kill off great characters, allowing even greater characters to grow. Brave, smart and confident.

I'm writing this because I comb through reviews looking for great series. There are so many crappy ones out there, it's almost disheartening trying to find a one worth the time. I'm sure when this series gets more exposure, it'll take off!

This is a great series. Jump in! You'll love it.

Book was a free version from audible. turned out to be a good story Now I'm starting the series. Any book read by Peter Kenny is always good. He is brilliant.

Another new Sci-fi, action series

I wasn't looking for another sci-fi action adventure series, but I found this really compelling. I wonder how much a pithy, super intelligent AI has to do with that, but no matter. The writing is smart and crisp, Peter Kenny is impeccable of course. This is fun, exciting and addictive. Enjoy!
