I loved it!

Finding Self-Expression

A book for us
This book was written unlike any other book I’ve ever read, Hearing Prisca read her own book with her tones and emotions was moving. Thank you, Prisca, you showed me how us Brown girls are connected even in our differences.

Amazing
What a beautiful opportunity to dig deep into my own brain and heart. The author is clear and direct with what it's like to be a Latina immigrant who navigates life figuring out who she truly is. I cried more than I ever anticipated. The topics navigated were a clear reflection of things I experienced as a Latina growing up and I never thought that anyone else could have felt this way. Love, Love, Love this book!
