About this listen

Control. That’s where I excel.

Everything in my life is rigidly planned, nothing ever takes me by surprise, until her.

Wren Jacobs.

I swear the woman was put on earth to drive me insane. She's too young, too beautiful, my daughter's best friend, and one of my best friend’s daughters. In other words, completely off limits.

And for one weekend she's the art curator assigned to help me pick up my newest painting.

My only job is keep my hands off the forbidden woman almost twenty years my junior. Every whisper of Daddy Wilson that falls from her lips drives me closer to forgetting my rules and realizing this nightmare might be the fantasy I need for the night.

Even if one night could be enough, will everyone finding out destroy it all?

This was super cute! Tom Wilson has everything planned out and he's always in control because that's where he excels. What he didn't expect was to have Wren accompany him as an art curator to get a new painting. Wren is someone he can't date because she is his daughter's best friend and she's too young. However, as they start to spend more time together. Maybe the rules were meant to be broken.

I loved this one! Despite the 19 yr age gap between Wilson and Wren they were perfect for eachother. They had similar interests in art and got along really well. Wren was mature, but fun too. I loved her spontaneity and I adored her friendship with Avery the most. I loved how passionate Tom was about art, Wren and his daughter. I felt the sizzling chemistry between Tom and Wren.

As for the audiobook narration, it's amazing! Performed in duet by Sebastian York and Janine Granda. These two were perfect as Daddy Wilson and Wren. They were how I imagined the characters to sound like. Sebastian conveyed Daddy Wilson with a gruff tone. Janine conveyed Wren with a softness in her tone. I thought the character transitions were seamless. Also both narrators had a wide range of tones to showcase the different characters. I enjoyed it!

Daddy Wilson? Yes, please!

I just 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄 Daddy Wilson and Wren were going to bring the heat, and they did not disappoint 👏🏻👏🏻

Honestly, I’ve been waiting for this story since 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘖𝘶𝘵 I’ve have been desperate for it since 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘍𝘰𝘶𝘭 𝘖𝘶𝘵, and I think where @jennibarabooks placed it in this series was absolutely perfect. I was completely obsessed with these two from their very first kiss, and I just loved them more and more as the story progressed.

The chemistry, the banter, and the consuming love and acceptance of the other felt so natural, and these two getting together was simply just a matter of time.

This winter/Christmas novella was short & spicy, and despite being fast paced, it packed in a lot of details to give the total satisfaction of a complete story!

Whatever magic Sebastian York and Janine Granda sprinkled in this to bring Daddy Wilson and Wren alive, was sheer perfection! When these two were announced as narrators I was so excited because I knew they would nail it, and they did not disappoint!!! Sebastian’s low, grumbly, and growly take on resident grump Tom Wilson was IMMACULATE! And Janine’s velvety, sultry take on Wren was exactly how I heard her in my mind when I read this! Add in the duet style narration, and this audio was just ::chefs kiss::!

Daddy Wilson came to play!

Story: 10/10
Spice: 3/5
Spice Hierarchy: Spicy
Narration: 4/5, duet

Wren has had it bad for her best friend’s dad for years. Tom Wilson has felt an attraction for quite awhile too. Both are surprised when they end up in NYC with Wren helping with the acquisition of a painting Tom has wanted. They end up snowed in and give in to their attraction. Tom is all in, but how will their relationship go over once they return to Boston with their families.

DADDY WILSON HAS ENTERED THE CHAT! And he came to play. I was a little worried that his story would spend too much time with Tom fighting his attraction and denying the chemistry between him and Wren. Thankfully, that has already happened in their back story so once these two give in while in NYC, they are ready for their next relationship steps.

This could be considered a long novella or a short story. It is honestly the story we have all been waiting on since The Fall Out when we first heard Wren call Tom “Daddy Wilson”. Watching their antics build through the previous stories, I knew I would love this story. But it was even better than I was expecting. I was worried that Wren being high-maintenance with her expensive taste would lead to them not building a deeper connection, however, that is not the case. Wren knows who she is and what she wants out of life which allows her to be honest with Tom and gives Tom the opportunity to build a relationship.

This narration was phenomenal. I loved every minute of Sebastian and Janine as Daddy Wilson and Wren. Add this to another narrator who has ruined me calling my daughters "baby girl". They both gave these characters the maturity that is there and it worked so well.

Quick, awesome audio!

Wren and Tom are two characters I’ve been enthralled with since the first book in this series. They’ve been flirting for years, and to finally see them come together was fabulous. They audio was even more exciting because Janine Granda and Sebastian York were fully convincing and incendiary together. I giggled and swooned along with the characters, and felt every emotion towards the end. I loved these two! Daddy Wilson is such an amazing book boyfriend!

Daddy Wilson!

❄️Duet Narration
❄️ Steamy
❄️ Age gap
❄️ Best friends dad
❄️ Workplace
❄️ Grumpy sunshine

If you’re looking for a romance that slides headfirst into home and delivers on a great balance of sweet and spicy, this book will not disappoint.

From the start, the tension between Wren and Tom sizzles. The banter is sharp, the stolen glances are electric, and when the snowstorm traps them together, the sparks burst into flames. Their chemistry is undeniable and this grump hides all the tenderness beneath the surface. Despite his gruff exterior, Tom shows a soft and caring side when it comes to Wren, making their connection all the more swoon worthy.

Sebastian delivered an outstanding performance, embodying every ounce of broody and grumpy silver fox “Daddy Wilson”. Every pang of frustration, all the subtle pining and longing was so authentic and completely on point. A perfect casting for an age gap!

Janine was the perfect Wren with her youthful tone that struck a wonderful balance between flirty sass and mature sophistication. Together their performance elevated the story and brought it to life for me!

Out of the Park

This audio was absolutely spectacular. Sebastian and Janine brought the whole story to life as Daddy Wilson and Wren. Hearing them tell this story had me giggling and kicking my feet all over again along with needing some time (IYKYK 😉) 🤭🤭🤭. I was already a fan of this book but now even more so and this is def going to be one of my favorite audios.
