About this listen

One night is never enough…

For firefighter Sean Riddick, Warrior Fight Club keeps the demons of his past at bay, even though it means seeing Daniela England. Her ball-busting sarcasm drives him nuts, and he knows he’s damaged goods anyway, but he can’t help but remember how good they were together that one time. Now he wants to take her to the mats no matter how much they go toe to toe.

ER nurse Daniela England has lost so much that she’s vowed never to need anyone again. Fight club helps her beat back her survivor’s guilt, but it means dealing with Riddick. The hot-but-infuriating firefighter is everything she wants to avoid, which is why their one-night stand was a mistake. Now she needs to keep her distance so it doesn’t happen again.

But when Dani witnesses Sean’s motorcycle accident, she steps up to help him recover. One on one, they get beneath all the snark and find a connection neither expected. As Sean heals, the sparks between them burst into red-hot passion - and ignite old wounds. Now there are fires all around - and they have to decide which they’ll fight and which they’ll let consume them.

An Enjoyable Read!

I’ve loved every audiobook in this series! Laura Kaye really knows how to address the concerns military families have whether deployed or retired! Dani and Sean show that moving on after being apart of the military can be a daunting experience and it takes strength to overcome the challenges and obstacles presented in the civilian world. Luckily for them they have the fortitude, compassion and forgiveness necessary to move forward without being rooted in the past!! Andi Arndt is an excellent narrator as always! Her performance is phenomenal in the way she switches back and forth in the male and female roles without missing a beat!! It’s always a pleasure to listen to her!!

Sean & Daniela

An exquisitely beautiful and charming romance. Sean and Daniela embark on a journey of learning to love again after a loss, moving forward and believing in they could be loved. I enjoyed every second of this adorable story.
Andi Arndt is a phenomenal narrator, I love listening to her bring any story she narrates to life.

Warrior

Sean Riddick, a firefighter, and Daniela “Dani” England, an ER nurse, are both members of the Warrior Fight Club. Their connection is intense and undeniable. A motorcycle accident leads to Dani and Sean spending a great deal of time together. Wherein Sean teaches her all about fandom with some Marvel movie marathon. As a huge Deadpool fan myself, I loved that Sean introduced her to Deadpool and made her a fan. I couldn’t get enough of the Deadpool quotes in this story. Hilarious! Other than that obvious awesomeness, they form a friendship during their time spent together as they learn a lot more about each other and their past hardships. That friendship and raw openness leads to them being unable to resist their desires. I love that the book recognizes the importance of emergency responders and military, and just how crazy their lives can be. And I love the tight bonds and comradery the characters all have with each other. It made the story stand out. Laura Kaye writes such sexy, captivating, passionate, and unique stories. I couldn’t stop listening!

“You’ll not only say it, Dani. You’ll beg me for it.”

Andi Arndt is legendary! Her narration is always perfect. The timing, pitch, pace, and character distinction were spot on. You know you’re in for a treat when Andi is the narrator!

💋

I love this series. Every single book in the series has been amazing but the back and forth banter between Sean and Danni has made this one my favorite.

And as always Andi Arndt brought the story to life.
