About this listen

Colton Allyster is relieved to be back home. After a year of rehabilitation, losing his career as a Marine along with his fiancé, he’s had to learn quickly what’s really important. Colton grew up wanting to serve his country. Managing his parents’ biker bar was never part of his plan, but after meeting Gia Caro, he’s beginning to think that’s exactly where he’s meant to be.

Ever since Gia Caro arrived in the small, sleepy town of Ruby Falls, Tennessee, her life has spiraled out of control. Between losing her grandmother a little more each day to dementia, and her hot boss’s constant attention, her once quiet existence isn’t so quiet anymore.

After weeks of sidestepping Colton, things get out of hand, and before Gia knows what’s happening, she’s spending her nights in his bed and her mornings in his kitchen. And as he cleans out drawers and makes room in his closet, she starts to wonder if she’s falling too fast.

Love Happens

The narrators really made this one come alive. I love Gregory Salinas, he did a fabulous job emulating the Alpha male goodness of Colton.

Sweet Story!

This was my first Aurora Rose Reynolds's book. Colton and Gia's story is sweet, fun, fast-paced, filled with a little suspense. They share a strong chemistry, and they are great together. I love how Colton is supportive and protective with Gia. The secondary characters are also great! I love Gia's best friend, and Colton's parents and brothers. I was sad for Gia's grandmother. I love the ending. Lacy Laurel and Gregory Salinas did a great job with the narration. They both have a great voice!, and I love to listen to them together.

Melt your heart!

Another great story from ARR! Falling Fast will come at you from an angle you didn’t expect. Gia is slammed with unexpected news that turns her lifes axis on its side.. now she’s in a new town, new job, and the bosses son is to good to be true.. bearing the weight of her new responsibilities is a lot on her own. Colton’s had to rebound from a lot in his life.. but one thing he refuses to let go of is Gia.. now if he can’t just convince her without scaring her off.

Great story! Great Narrators!

Sweet story, good narration

As expected with Aurora Rose Reynold books, this was a sweet book. Gia is a lovely, if naive girl who realizes that her grandmother, who she was told was dead, was actually not dead. (talk about an evil stepmother-ugh). She goes to take care of her grandmother, who has dementia and this story line broke my heart because it really does showcase the loss of a loved one to a slow and devastating disease. And in this case, the time lost is irrevocable.

Colton is distrustful of the opposite sex because of his past (and what an ex- yuck) but Gia is just so sweet that it was pretty much insta-attraction/love. There's a good supporting cast (Colton's mom and dad are like the ultimate mom and dad) and Gia's best friend, Nat, is funny. Colton's brothers will likely be featured in other stories and for good reason- this is a lovable cast of characters.

There was a mystery within the book although I thought that aspect was pretty obvious. But it didn't detract from the story at all, just added another dimension, even though it was a bit predictable.

The narration was on point. i thought that Lacy did a good job overall but didn't clearly delineate between multiple female voices so you had to pay more attention when she was narrating a conversation. But she did pretty well delineating between male and female characters. Gregory Salinas did a nice job- sounded like a perfect Colton and did a good job with multiple characters. i received this book from Audiobook Obsession Review Group for an honest review. #AudiobookObsessionReviewer

Such a sweet story!

I really enjoyed this story! The writing was great and the narration was well done. These characters were really fun. They had great chemistry, and the pacing of their story kept me hooked! There was also a great cast of side characters that added so much to the story! This was one of my first Aurora Rose Reynolds books, but it definitely won't be my last!

Colton & Gia

Love Colton and Gia. So much emotion. There were definitely tears involved for me. And I’m sure there will be the next time too. This book will be on my list to return to!
