About this listen

Everything is changing. As if finding four mates and magic wasn't enough, it turns out that Mor is the last remaining survivor of the Fae royal family. Her family is not her family, John is an insane human mage out to steal her power, and she has to take back her kingdom. As Mor journeys to the Fae realm with her mates, they discover that things are going to be much harder than they believed.

Armies are gathering against them, and they must find a way to defend the kingdom from the evil that is trying to take over. Mor finally feels like she has found a home with Ben, Sebastian, Max, and Atreyu. Will they be able to survive the coming battles? Mor's mates are determined to take back the kingdom and her rightful place as ruler of the Fae realm. Mor must find her strength to protect what is hers before it's too late.

Contains mature themes.

fun fast read

I don't care for the narrator. I feel the accents could have been stronger

First one was better

I really wanted to like this book more. It wasn't bad so I'm not saying to not give it a try. BUT this felt like a completely different book than the first one. It didn't flow smoothly from one book to the other. It feels like the author wrote the books far apart. Also I understand it goes with the storyline but the characters were not likeable this second book. I wanted there to be positive growth but the main character just got winey and bitchy. The guys acted more like little devoted subjects instead of like her mates. I almost quite at the beginning of the book but it did get a bit better. I probably won't be continuing with the series though.

Could Not Finish.

No particular reason for this other than simple lack of interest. I always finish stories even if I don't love them. However, this book is just sitting in my library half finished and I have no desire to continue. Will probably return.

hard to listen to.

can't really speak to the book itself because I couldn't get past the horrible reading.
