Great fantasy story

I love the way Meg Anne weaves a story, this was my first series with her and I’ll definitely be checking out her others. Stella Hunter always delivers on her narrations , it’s always exciting to see her name on an audio.

But possibly my favorite part - Shane freaking East. His voice acting is second to none for me. Need heaven to rain down on your ears, you will find it here. The whispers that send tingles up your arms, the growls that well you know what those do, the whole Norse accent is everything . Buy a hand fan because a hand alone will not cover it.

I cannot wait for more Lina and Nord! My gosh, this series is addictive. Action-packed, fast-paced, and hot, hot, hot. Meg Anne has delivered a fun, seductive and jam-packed paranormal romance that leaves you wanting more, more, more!

Lina is still trying to figure out who she is, what happened, and why she is under threat. Nord is her grumpy self-appointed supernatural Viking protector. They are quite a pair. They are drawn to each other, and Nord's growly protectiveness of Lina is matched only by her determination to to figure this mystery out, AND to prove herself strong, independent and a force to be reckoned with. Add to this Quinn and Finley, who are two of the sassiest and grumbly side-kicks ever, and this just such a fun trip to listen to.

Narration by Shane East and Stella Hunter is spot-on perfect for this story. They are making this an absolute treat to listen to, and are definitely bringing Meg Anne's words to life.

The interesting story keeps you listening with the duet narration bringing the story to life. I love this series!!

I need me a Nord

serious he's just so sworn worthy. and Shane east is vocal sex.
ok continuing on with the book. the second book pics up right where you leave off. literally like the second it happens from the cliffhanger-- It's where it picks up. this installment has Lena finally remembering her past thanks to Quin and her uncle. I won't have spoilers but let's just say -- the killer is found. It's a bit of a twist in the story but it's a kind of expected twist and it's told really well. The relationship between Nord and Lena grows deeper and becomes more solid instead of the back and forth of "I want to but shouldn't for your sake". More characters/players are brought into this story which actually sets up for the third book WHICH I CANNOT WAIT FOR cause while this one doesn't end in such an obvious cliffhanger, there's still lots of questions.
definitely worth a read (or again Shane Easton = sexy so go listen) I live Meg Anne and her writing style. don't deny it you will too!

My ears are still smoking

Shane East and Stella Hunter are truly amazing at their craft. They brought Nord and Lina to life; so much so that when I re-read the story, I can still hear their voices.

Meg Anne is a masterful storyteller, however, when read by Shane and Stella the story enters a whole nother level!

This story and performance truly deserves 10 stars!!!

Exciting Mischievous Sexy Magic!

Face of Danger picks up right where the first book left off and just keeps getting better! The more we get to know these characters the more I love them. Lina has her memories now. As she gains her power and blooms in her new relationship with Nord her underlying personality shines through in the way she treats others. She is far from naive, but chooses to see the good in people and inspires them to be better (sometimes against their very nature). I just love this side of her! We saw it with the bouncer (KiKo) in book 1 and it blossoms in this book. Nord continues to demonstrate his intense need to protect Lina and exact vengeance. Not only is he a fantastic hero, but he is the perfect fit for Lina. His dominant personality clashes with her independence at times with excellent fireworks and seriously hot scenes that will cause you to back up and listen again. Finley is an excellent partner for Nord. He just keeps getting more interesting and fun. Quinn is a devious, mischievous mastermind and tortures Finley in all the best ways. I can’t wait to see what happens there! Cromby is definitely interesting with lots of antihero potential.

Stella Hunter and Shane East work together beautifully in duet to bring this story to life with all of the anger, angst, humor, and passion! The depth and complexity of the nefarious powers working against them is further revealed in this book with building suspense and mystery. It’s exciting, fun, and sexy as hell! I can’t wait for the next book to find out what happens! I definitely recommend this series!

Oops! She did it again!

Meg Ann has done it again! Written an outstanding, entertaining and delightful mixed PRN story, that is. 😁
The characters are witty, intelligent and hot. The storyline is well thought out, fast moving and hard to put down. And the book is the perfect combo of drama, humor and magic!

The dual narration is once again spectacular with fabulous voices and great inflection. It completely brings the story to life! I cannot wait for the next book!

Great Follow Up

Once again Shane and Stella rocked the heck out of this book. This story just keeps getting better and better! You fall even more in love with Lina and Nord. They are literally a matched made in heaven (or Valhalla if you will). You definitely learn more about Lina and who she really is after her amnesia clears. In the first couple of chapters there is a lot of information to digest but don't let that deter you from finishing the book. It is soooooo worth it. You do learn more about Quinn which I love her character even more. I do want to know more about Crombie because he is such an enigma and also would like to learn more about Finley. Ummmmm.....can we just talk about the tension between Quinn and Finley?? They just need to get to it already!! lol There is plenty of action, romance and intrigue in this book. I highly recommend picking up book 1 (Hint of Danger) prior to reading this one. ENJOY!!

Excellent second book

A great follow-up to the first book. This series is wonderful and I'll definitely continue on with it!
Now that Lina has her memories back she also knows who killed her. This book follows Lina and her crew while they avenge her death and bring the wrath of both the Mobias Council and The Brotherhood on them.
