About this listen

Kristjan's home was attacked. He was supposed to be sent through a portal with his guard to keep him safe until everything settled down, but things didn't go as planned.

He woke up without his memory in a world that is filled with Demons, Djinns, Phoenix, Fire Giants, and many others.

During his time on Exhulm, he's bullied for being a non-magical being, making his life difficult. Around his 18th birthday, things begin to change, though. His magic presents itself, making his life even more problematic. Kristjan realizes that maybe not having magic wasn't so bad after all.

Overall good

My only gripe is that the MC calls almost every male he meets a D bag or a—hole, but is probably the biggest a—hole in the whole book. He has no chill. Lot of things could have gone smoother had he not been a dick.

Need more!

Okay I am already a huge fan of Xander Jade… this was the icing on the cake, first Traveler gets an audiobook now Exhulm ( happy dance )

Very well done and the VA’s are superb. The story is fascinating and I love all the aspects and roads that are left open to travel down in later books … if we don’t get book 2 soon … we riot

Male Voice Actor Sounds Awful

It feels like the VA has something against every male character he has to voice who isn't immediately on the MC's side. To show this he makes them sound like they are talking around chunks of asphalt, snarling every other word, or snorting like a pig? The last 2 hrs have a king equivalent who is tall, jacked and respectful to the MC sounding like an orc or something with his growly snorted speech? The incubi snorted every other word, like how is that suave and seductive?

Author needs an editor there's just some mistakes that confuse or distract. Also no one wants an in detail discussion of a 14yr old MC spanking the monkey, why did u think that was good? You're super mysterious Mc is coming off as an edgelord written by a middle schooler like a caricature of a character.

not bad, not great

The setting for the book is intriguing and other than some strange word choice, it is well written. Most of this author's books follow a very similar character and story structure. The mc is op and deliberately obtuse, anti social, and slow to trust. The women are all very type cast into the same category, with no variation in personality or motivation. It is difficult to understand how any of the girls could feel attracted to the mc, as he is always grumpy and uncompromising. This author also loves to throw in random instances of the mc sleeping for weeks on end. Finally, the bond riding along in his consciousness is weird and disconcerting, even taking control of his body at times. The story had potential, but the execution is lacking.
