About this listen
I want to choose my own destiny, but that’s not the way of the vampires. I know Gunnar is my true mate, but I’m forbidden to tell him how I feel. It gets even worse because a vampire royal wants to claim me and I only have to until the end of this school year to figure how to control my own life and choose the man I love.
Get lost in the world of Ebony’s Legacy. This is the third book in Gunnar’s and Ebony’s story as this gifted girl discovers the truth about herself.

Story
Compiled by intrepid journalist Neve Pride, this archive of recordings spans the months after dragons emerged on earth, chronicling the communities that sprang up amid the destruction, the scientists, military leaders, and experts searching for a defense, and those steadfastly seeking the missing. Neve and her young daughter Bex travel among the wreckage speaking to those left behind and surviving, against all odds. Neve records everything for history, and in the hopes of locating a clue as to where the dragons came from and how one might stop them.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
For some it’s an opportunity. For others it’s a moment to question their faith: In God, in science, in everything. Still others try to keep the world running in the face of absurdity and uncertainty. And then there are the billions looking to the sky and wondering how a thing that was always just there is now... something absolutely impossible.

Things are really heating up...
The deeper I read into this series, the more I fall in love with Hades—he is just the sweetest, most loyal thing!
This installment was also fun in the way it made me so mad—the lack of free will for a certain female … is all I’ll say here. IYKYK.
The author’s ability to rile up my emotions is impressive—I definitely need to explore their other works. This entire book is so infuriating, but in a delicious way—the magical r*pe, Jackson is the literal worst. Guida did an incredible job of showing what it’s like to be stripped of your free will and unable to vocalize it, the frustration, and everything else involved.
Academy setting.
Vampires, dragons, demons.
Frenemies.
Duel.
Curses.
Forced ‘pairing’.
Attacks on free will.
‘Other man’ drama.
Action / fight scenes.
Royalty.
Overall:
A fast, fun read that hit me in the feels in more ways than one. Loved it and can’t wait to read on!
4.5 stars.
🎧 Audio:
Bordeaux is FANTASTIC—I could hardly believe she did this all herself! While it had only one narrator, she pretty much made it sound like a full-cast production with all her different voices and accents. Overall sound quality is perfect—the entire book is absolutely flawless. 5 stars. 🦩

Year Three
Ebony is coming into her powers but still has so much more to master and not much time. Gunner is also back but Jackson refuses to back off. He’s determined to make Ebony his mate no matter what she wants. Ebony is realizing who some people really are. She has to figure out what’s true and how to save her friends. There were certain things that drove me a bit crazy in this one. I really wanted to punch a character many times in this one. And I want to cuddle a certain dragon tattoo. Things are getting intense and Ebony needs to master all of her abilities before it’s too late.

Ebony’s Legacy Year Three
This is the third book in Ebony’s Legacy series. Gunner has finally returned to the academy. Ebony is learning how to handle the power she has. But nothing can be easy for these two. Jackson has become obsessed with making Ebony his vampire mate. He demanded a sacred vow be placed on Ebony. This vow is when two mates have to fight for her hand. However she can’t speak about it to anyone. Each day Ebony dislikes Jackson more and more. She is only ever been in love with Gunner.
Bridget Bordeaux did an excellent job narrating this book.

Part 3
The third year. Someone is back, more classes now it's to prepare her for a battle that is coming. Curses and bindings. Someone's true colors are showing. A duel like ancient times. My favorite is the tattoo that is on Ebony's love interest that comes to life when he is sent to watch over her. A collaboration with witches. A Halloween dance that doesn't start or end good.
