King Grey once benefited from unrivaled strength, wealth, and prestige in a world governed by martial ability, but now finds himself reborn in a society dominated by magic. Pretty generic
I listened to this because it was free and because of the upcoming anime. It could be that later books are better written, but this one was standard power fantasy isekai. Without a substantial improvement in quality, I'm not really sure what all the commotion is about with reference to the series. I'd recommend the Cradle series by Will Wight over this any day, even with the first book in that series being a weak entry.
