What a twist!

Never saw it coming! Thoroughly enjoyed being dumbfounded!!! You will love it!!! Don’t expect the normal with this book!!

Ok this was an amazing story I think it actually depends 10 stars the storyline was suspenseful and kept my attention all the way through to a good ending all tied up perfectly

All the twists and turns

I absolutely LOVED this book. I couldn’t stop listening to it. I had it on playing in my living room while my TV was on and muted because I really wanted to hear the book more than what was on the TV. 😂😂

Very good with one demerit

If my best friend (or daughter or sister) disappeared and suddenly reappeared 12 years later, my first questions would have been: Where have you been? Why/how did you leave? Why didn’t you contact us earlier? Why did you come back now? Etc. But there was none of that. However, if you suspend disbelief, the book ends up being quite good.

Another five star book from my favorite author!

I absolutely loved this book. Just when I thought I had everything figured out and that it was over there were even MORE twists to keep me on the edge of my seat. Impatiently waiting for your next one Nicola!🥰

The narrator was amazing. She infected emotions in her voice that got my heart pumping, I felt like I was looking through the window. I thought I had it all figured out.....nope! The twist come out of nowhere and let me speechless!!!!

Little far fetched

More like 3.5 Stars. An entertaining story that kept me engaged. Multiple rows of “Is She, Is She Not” got a bit old. The ending was far-fetched considering the chain of events. Still a good listen.

Wow what a ride!

Every time I thought I had figured it out I was hit with another twist! I really enjoyed this book more than I’d anticipated.

Felt deceived

I found the protagonist to be so annoyingly gullible. I don’t know who gives over $20,000 when they’re being treated that shitty. Why couldn’t you just give them half? I wouldn’t even have done that. For some reason it just sort of seem pretty obvious That she was being gaslit. And it was annoying to have to hear the protagonist constantly sounds like a goody two shoes.. I guess I felt punked rather than it being a plausible twist. There were some sections that were so well written. It was all well written to be honest with you. It was just too much gone into what a gullible nitwit the protagonist was. At some point, I want to throw her down well as myself. Only because it seems like she should’ve had more street smarts to make this more fun.
