Intense!

Up all night!
I couldn’t put this book down. It kept me up all night. So well written. Not a dry moment. Suspenseful, thrilling and heart wrenching. Loved it!

Pretty good

I enjoyed the story and the performance was fab. My only problem was, mostly in the beginning, the main character gave so much detail about her feelings that it got boring. But once the story starts picking up and you meet more characters it gets good. The whole time the main character does make you super mad by her actions but I feel this with most books.

It was fine.

I did want to finish the book, so it was good enough, but I felt that some of the characters motives were unrealistic.

Spell Binding

This story grips you at many angles! Extremely hard to put it down! Sarah paints clear visual pictures for you. Totally entertaining......looking for another one of her books!

Repetition killed it

I got the message, it was just painful getting there. Missed the mark a little

Good but Silent Child is better

I rarely read multiple novels by the same author. This was good but Silent Child was much much better.

Pretty great

The story had me rapt from the beginning. Really easy to listen to & enough intrigue to keep you involved. I found myself finding excuses to keep listening.
The "twist" wasn't quite a twist, but it was good all the same.
I liked this book so much I got 2 more from this author & listened to those in 2 days.

Meh

I wouldn’t be too quick to call this a “gripping” tale :/ I had expected a story of a mother stopping at no end to find her daughters murderer, with action and twists and character development along the way. This book, however, was rather boring for most of it- just her recollecting memories and talking about her thoughts, with just a few semi interesting happenings along the way. I called a portion of the ending within the first 25%, and the rest by about 65%. Le sigh* hard to find truly gripping psych thrillers any more. Read Anni Taylor! Best author I’ve found for this.
