Listening to this book made me realize that there are so many other women who have experienced this type of abuse. In so many cases you feel that you are unable to escape the abuse and the unfortunate thing is that this behavior never changes and it is suffocating. This book has helped me on my healing journey.

I always have problems when dealing with anger, I listened to this audiobook awhile ago and Nanette is talking about dealing with anger. I was using the wrong approach, now I know exactly how to deal with it and stay calm rather than burst out.
