Good story No chapter 23

Sweet story that I read on KU before paying a credit here.

Chapter 23 is completely missing so we don't get the introduction of a new important character, instead we get her second appearance twice.

audio editing issues mar a stellar story

The story and performance was excellent by both narrator and author. The only issue is that there are times in the story where lines will overlap with each other making it impossible to understand. Additionally, some lines repeat as different takes were left in. This is particularly agreed just at the end, during the side stories and author's notes.

Outside of that the story itself was well performed in its narration and wonderful to behold. The story is a comfortable slice of life romp and a relaxing delight, much like a warm cup of tea on a rainy day. I hope the Audio gets fixed to make this a proper 10/10 experience.

cozy story with a wholesome romance

While some of the beats were predictable it was still a cozy read that I overall enjoyed. The thing that really makes the book stand out though is the protagonist's main relationship. I feel like it developed in a very healthy way and it felt very natural, she was never made to be less of a character but in fact the point where she gets in trouble is a similar point to the main character of an unwillingness to bother other people for help.

adorable and cute

it was cozy and relaxing. great for a fluffy read that actually keeps you interested, unlike a lot of other books where the chapters seem to just be remixed throughout the book. this book still has a good story to it and the narrator did a great job

Warmth and Positive Vibes

The reader is PERFECT for this book.

I love this series. It really relaxes me, like a surprising amount. It’s the feeling of sliding into the water of a hot bath. It’s being wrapped up in warm blankets without overheating. It’s curling up in an overstuffed chair with a cup of tea on a chilly stormy night.

Arthur really hit the jackpot and if I’m ever asked what kind of world to be isekai’d into - I’ll ask for a nice one.

wonderful book

I loved listening to this while driving, it is a cozy book very well written, the narrator does a great job and portraying the characters and making sure they feel alive I honestly could not stop listening and had to make myself go to sleep so I wouldn't finish it too fast I can not wait for the second one to release on audio

Slice of life and the cozy fantasy you need

I loved this entire story and absolutely adored each aspect of it. The narration and story was lovely. However, like others in the comments section, I agree that it needs some audio cleaning. I’m leaving my review at 5 because I honestly think it’s a wonderful story; I literally almost cried at some parts because listening to this was like someone was putting a blanket on me, handing me tea, and telling me it’s all going to be ok. But there are bits where the audio overlaps, sometimes awkward pauses, and several dual takes that have been left within the final story. The post-epilogue material is especially messy (the author’s letter is killing me rn).
