I would recommend this book and series. To find the first book of a series that is nonstop from start to finish and realize there are 7 more waiting in the wings so to speak is just AWSOME!!!

What did you like best about this story?

It is difficult to pick what is best of this story. It was a easy to keep reading until it was finished and then the panic of I need the next book... NOW!!!

Which scene was your favorite?

The confrontation with the Government is well done, and if such a person did exist the government reaction was believable.

My reaction to this book was " there are only 6 books left " !!!!!!!

Thank you Audible for adding not just a first book in a series. Finding you have added 8 books in a series that wasn't there a day before is like Christmas for me. .

Chris Gordon is the man

I like the character development I like the fact that the vampires and werewolves are badass. yet Chris is still better

Great so far

So far so good. Lots of action with the same issue, I can't put the book down to concentrate on anything else. :)

Action packed and fast paced with likable characters and a good story arc. The audio version was enjoyable.

Another great book to read in this series

This is book three in the series. If you gotten this far that means you must have enjoyed the previous two books. This is every bit as interesting as the first two. The characters continue to develop while the storyline will twist and turn leaving you anxious to hear more.

my favorite series

I've listened to this whole series several times. Christian Gordon has combined vampire werewolf angel and demon abilities. He's still struggling to master his new demon part at the beginning of this volume so it's violent. But Conroe doesn't obsess about describing the blood splatter, so you don't have to visualize that aspect. I don't like most dark urban fantasy but this has a balance of light and dark and is very well written.

Loved it!

You know that voice in your head that reassesses those situations in which you end up on the short end of the stick, yet this time you say and do the perfect thing resulting in immense success and endless accolades? That's what Chris gets to do but in real life. Greatly entertaining and endlessly cathartic. Everybody loves it when the bad guy gets what they deserve.
JPC's narration performance is artfully rendered. His portrayal of female characters, for example, by affect and not resorting to raising his pitch is highly effective and entertaining. His portrayals add to the like/hate factor of each character in a way that enhances your investment in the story.

good 2nd bk in series

Fun easy listen & good 2nd bk. ..overall reasonable plot & logical as possible for crazy supernatural hero. Voices sometimes sounds alike but not a deal breaker

Keeps Getting Better

I already love this series. Book 2 was awesome!! I'm addicted. I'm so excited to see where this series goes from here. I love the narration!
