About this listen

While on vacation, journalist Sandy Travis and her fiance Tom are in a horrendous helicopter accident. The crash causes Tom to have a near-death experience - he sees an ethereal figure who sends him back to the living, so he can accomplish more with his life.

After Tom is revived by Sandy, he describes to her his experience. He tells her about being sent back by an Angel so he could achieve more with the living. As it turns out - Tom is wrong. Horribly wrong.

Tom's brush with death plunges Sandy into a dangerous race against malevolent forces who want to trigger Armageddon. She must save Tom from the dark forces controlling his life by following a bloody trail of coded secrets and targeted assassinations. Sandy's plight will pit her against an otherworldly cabal using the process of N.D.E. to usher in.... The Demon Days.

Ending was dumb

What was most disappointing about Richard Finney and D.L. Snell ’s story?

At the end, the main character became what she was fighting against the whole story. It just didn't really make sense.
